Beautiful place to stay for both Adults and children. We visited as a family 4 adults, 1 child. We stayed in a lodger, it was lovely with good parking for two cars. The location was lovely with lovely views from the windows. Plenty of space between accommodations. You can really tell this park has put people's experience at the top of the list. Lovely walks. Shop on site which you need as you are not close to any supermarket. The main building is lovely with great facilities. The swimming pool was lovely and my daughter enjoyed it. We visited during our school holidays not Scotland school holidays the pool was quiet. Food at the restaurant was lovely. The staff are amazing, very friendly and helpful. Beautiful place to visit, I highly recommend.
Beautiful location, well equipped lodge and we were blessed with fabulous weather...most of the time. Great walking area so didn't need to get in the car until it was time to leave. Hot tub was a treat after a day's hiking. Fantastic holiday. Would love to come back.Rooms: 4/5
We are booked in for tomorrow , having read the terms and conditions plus the positive ad negative reviews we are feeling apprehensive about our holiday "reference 17944", we hope we have an awesome time but the anxiety is kicking in as there is so much of a get out clause when reading the terms and conditions when it comes to pictures advertised are a guide line etc & limited times on hot tub usage with threat of loss of deposit,  feels like getting read the riot act , fingers crossed  everything will be OK,  I must say that the 3D tour of the Scandinavian accommodation needs to be re-taken,  mouldy windows ,doors, and bathroom sills, stains on walls  at top of 1st floor landing and dirty decking . We are scheduled to arrive tomorrow 1600 and are staying until  Friday,  will let you  know how it goes . Well guys we had a great time , the food was great would recommend the beer battered fish and chips, you just cant get that quality out of a chip shop takeaway now a days. The views were stunning of the loch with lots of things to see on the walks, the weather was great as well. All the staff definitely know how to entertain. It is definitely worth going to the pub as well. The hot tub was attended to regular by site staff. Our two dogs had a great time as well, the local shop on site was great , you would expect any local shop on a holiday site to have drastically inflated prices , but they were reasonable. We did have anxiety regarding keeping the carpets clean , however I understand  that there are contractors on site replacing the carpets with vinyl flooring , all in, well done to everyone on site and hope to see you all soon.
We stayed in the osprey lodge June 2024 everything was lovely great comfy beds exceptionally pristine lodge .only thing the hot tub had a fault and was over heating .so couldn't use it bit disappointing as that was main reason for booking this lodge. supposed to be getting a refund as we couldn't use the hot tub .only getting charged for ordinary lodge and manager said she would refund the difference .have Bern many times but since this company cove has took over its alot nicer id say .I'm going to hunters quay in July same company looking forward to this
We had a room in the main hotel. The welcome was not that nice and overall we had not that good experience with the staff. Some of the questions we had possibilities to wash clothes e.g. the staff couldn't really help us. We were told that there was a laundrette but not that it was already closed. I went to the sauna and was told there that I had to bring the towel. When I came back with the towel I was told I have to wear a bathsuit. Instead of telling right away what you need to know you have to find out. Also the food wasn't good and the table dirty. The manager Carl seemed though really interested if we enjoyed our dinner. The rooms were good.
Lodge was lovely, large and spotless with everything you would need, village is nice, quiet and scenic. Very remote. The service in the restaurant wasnt great, received wrong orders, left drinks order on the bar for over 10mins before bringing them to table. Had to ask twice about how long mains would be, mains were very dry as if sitting under a heat lamp for a long time. Starters were nice. It's not overly expensive but expected better service.
Set in a serene locanion, surrounded by montains and the lake, it is an amazing place to relax in nature, have long walks, and hide away from town busy life. Facilities and staff are excellent. Accommodation is very good. There is a shop on site to buy necessary things for daily needs. The over 6h drive we had to do to get there has been well paied off by the beauty of place and the very well managed holiday park. Highly recommended.
Spectacular location. Lovely well appointed rooms with TV, Kettle , Coffee pod machine and your own personal toiletries. Some rooms with fantastic views over Loch Goil. The shower is especially good, spacious and good water pressure.Rooms: 5/5
I want to start by saying we had such a wonderful weekend staying at the Hotel and would highly recommend, there are however a few areas that require improvement. Very warm welcome at reception, Dog friendly!!! :D Massive thank you to Tim, from Cove adventures. 1000% get booked in for canoeing, very informative, points out the wildlife around the loch and we even stopped in at a cafe along the way. Wonderful experience. Worth the money spent. Unfortunately our massage was cancelled due to sickness, I hope Shirley recovers soon. Not overly disappointed as there is so much to experience! The view restaurant, we found breakfast was excellent service and the food was lovely However come evening it’s a very different experience. BOOK A TABLE. Before we arrived I emailed to book a table but had no response and from the information emails before arriving it said no reservations necessary, so I wasn’t worried about the lack of response and neither was the receptionist when I explained. Come Saturday night at 5pm when the view bar opens we were 2nd in line and I asked for a table for two. Manager Carl informed us there is no availability until 8pm and that we should have booked. I explained I had emailed to book with no response and was also told it wasn’t necessary, Carl was very defensive from the beginning but asked that we take a seat until the other dinner guests had been seated. 40 minutes later Carl found us a table. it was not busy, I explained to Carl it also states online no reservations necessary and asked that he contacts the management to have it amended as many more frustrated customers will come along. I understand he is probably just as frustrated as us and was pleasant eventually, we ordered the mac and cheese, the spicy chicken Cajun pasta but were disappointed as both dishes were very bland. Not to worry it happens. Pool, sauna and steam room were brilliant, remember £1 for the lockers. Had the Euros football playing on a large screen in the rob roy bar. Singers on both nights, also the Fox bar which is more a pub atmosphere for adults, as the rob Roy is very family oriented Plenty for the kids to do. Beautiful hikes all around. Bar staff were excellent, although had trouble with the bar manager. Drinks are very expensive. I ordered a £7.55 large glass of white wine, when I went for another I was going to be charged for the £9 odd wine, when I questioned it I was informed it’s because it’s a different wine, so I asked for the one I had before. He poured me the correct one but I didn’t like that he automatically gave me the more expensive one without asking. Especially when prices are already so high. Didn’t feel he had the best rapport with the bar staff, very huffy in front of customers if they made mistakes. Check out for the hotel is 11am which is excellent but I popped out with my bags to the car and wanted to return to the room to use the bathroom and the cleaner was in at 10.30 when I hadn’t even handed the key back. I informed reception on my way out and the gentleman on was very apologetic. A few hiccups but overall a wonderful experience and would go back. It’s so easy to see the bad feedback but it honestly was an amazing stay! I only point these out in hope you can save yourself the trouble of the same experience and hope the feedback can be used to improve the services. Thank you.
Overall great holiday, however few hiccups with wifi not working fixed very quickly by staff, not enough hot water for 4 to have showers in the morning, but manageable, and could have done with the hot tub being ready to use on arrival. However, all small things and sorted out. Restaurant staff friendly and provided good service. They did run out of most desserts by 7.30pm though. Activities staff great, friendly and accommodating.
