4 of us visited Radhuni on the eve of May 21st ‘22 & we were not disappointed Wonderful Indian food; long and interesting menu with plenty of choices from various different areas of India. Everyone enjoyed! Unlike a lot of Indian restaurants I’ve visited, where everything seems to end up in a generic orange sauce; the flavours were complex & the ingredients & colours varied. My dish was a beautiful green! The Rezada was amazing. Delicious vegetable side dishes; good quality meats and fish. Huge bottles of Kingfisher beer to wash it down & a cheeky Rosé. We shared a kulfi for dessert all being too stuffed for one each & were treated to a complimentary Baileys to finish. The waiters were charming; especially Ash & the location was lovely. High ceilings and loads of room. I believe the historic building was a riverside tearoom years ago I grew up in Bedford. Reincarnated as a high quality Indian restaurant it is a place I’d have no hesitation in returning to on my next visit to Bedford. Thank you very much Radhuni!
Restaurant was quiet when we visited. But great service and the food was really nice, full of flavour and taste. Only criticism was portion sizes were on the small side.
Went here on Christmas day and the food was amazing beautiful lamb shank starter in photo, staff were very accommodating when asking for something that wasn't on the menu, food was just 10/10 will definitely go here again! And Sammy made it very personal remembering our names and being very polite.Food: 5/5
The food we have have ordered has always been delicious and plentiful. The delivery drivers have always been polite and friendly. My last two deliveries were made by Tan. What a delightful and lovely lady. Very friendy and a pleasure to chat to. Also always on time. Thank you . Jan.
Very poor hospitality. This my first time experience with Radhuni and I my last, I regret that we had to gone through this poor hospitality. We were not offered a seat in the first place and had to wait for 30 minutes to get a place, though there were many empty spaces. Infact we have done the booking in advance and we were told, we will be treated well. The attitude shown to us was very bad when we asked for a high chair for the 14 months old kid. Most of the restaurant at Bedford are kids friendly. Due to your poor hospitality we had to wait for long and had to carry the kid throughout that period. You need to be more tolerant towards a baby and respectful towards the mother. You response to our review shows how intolerant you are towards us, because, rather than asking what went wrong, you are being judgemental.
Such delicious food with great portions! The staff are soooo lovely and friendly! The restaurant should however have asian music playing to make the atmosphere a bit nicer and it would fit perfectly! When people are sat down you are sat in the far end and not towards the windows, I think from a marketing standpoint this should be flipped so that people from the outside can see customers! Vegetarian options: There are plenty of vegetarian options available
Excellent food, friendly staff, great atmosphere, nice views and really good value for money. The 5 of us really enjoyed our family birthday celebration lunch. The fresh ingredients made the meal very tasty. There is nothing worse than limp salad... the pomegranate on top of the salad is a great touch. We will definitely be visiting again.
Had a beautiful dinner here overlooking the embankment. Fast service. Good staff. Food was really tasty. Overall a really beautifully located Indian restaurant.
Parking at the back for customers and a good place to see, hear and smell the kitchen in full swing as orders are being prepared. Nice welcome and shown to your seats with the offer of having your jackets taken by staff. Unsual to some, but completely sensible to me, the menu starts with drinks and then towards the back has the food. Now when the first thing you are asked if you want is a drink it makes perfect sense to make sure the customer has browsed that choice already so top marks for user experience there! A vast selection of food and all very delicious, be careful though if you don't have a sweet tooth, the creamy dishes are very creamy and sweet so if that's not your thing then stick to the more traditional curry dishes with a tomato and onion base. Although there is a chilli guide my advice as someone who loves chilli is to minus one chilli rating to get the true hotness, my dish said 3 chillies but tasted like only 1, again I'm a chilli lover so my idea of 1 is probably your 2 so that's why I say go down only the one. Service was great, most other diners were pleasant except this strange woman and her two late twenties or mid thirty year old sons who had a habit of staring around at everyone and making comments. Clean, big modern venue, nice surroundings and about £30 a head for starter, main and drinks. Very good and would reccomend to anyone living in or visiting Bedford.
Nice place, for a curry along the river in Bedford, friendly staff, decent prices, good quality food, very nice curries.
