Wonderful venue, very scenic, differnt walking routes, a Gruffalo track for children. Its a beautiful place to visit, lots to see, a wonderful viewing point with telescope, amazing variety of trees, with plaques to tell you the info & when planted. Fantastic place to visit for all ages, highly recommended
Lovely area to explore with a wide variety of trees, especially beautiful in the autumn. Great little shop and easy parking system too.
100% worth a visit. We are closer to Arley and Bodenham arboretums but chose to drive 50 mins to try this one for a change and very pleased we did. Good amount of car parking spaces, nice cafe eat in or takeaway, great playground with a lot of equipment/variety and some beautiful walks through lovely woodland. All trees clearly labelled and some great things for the kids to look out for Gruffalo characters etc. Dogs also very welcome and allowed off the lead once in the woods. Car parking is fine, as long as you follow the instructions - no tickets, pay on exit utilising ANPR. We will definitely be back
Called in to stretch our legs on our way north. Didn't get round everything, there's quite a lot to see. Did see the redwoods though, which the kids loved. Paid £3 for two hours parking.
Lovely Autumn walk through the woods and sanctuary of the old trees. Nice meandering paths lead to different parts of the woods all with their own special scientific and conservationist interests. Car park is pay as you leave unless you have a disability card then you can register and park for free. There is a cafe, information area, play area for children and great for dog walkers.
Great find. Needed a stop to walk the dog and this was on the way immediately off the main road between Hereford and Leominster. Loads of tracks set out and marked of different lengths, plenty of parking, cafe. Must be popular for dog walkers locally
An Absolute Gem!! Absolutely incredible reserve, amazing forestry and we especially adored the sequoia trees!! They were breathtaking. The whole place is maintained perfectly and is a place we are going to cherish for the rest of our lives with our baby due down. Highly recommend to everyone yo visit and support Queenswood!! Thank you, see you soon :
A good find with lots of space and facilities for families. Although there are many information panels by the trees we will need to go back as there is so much information. The various trails make for a number of varied walks and there are info panels to guide too. Although we are fairly local we had not heard of this place … worth a visit it has a tea room, gift shop, parking pay & display and toilets
Lovely and clean, beautiful walk, plenty of space for children to roam. Only gripe was one lady didn't have her 3 dogs on leads which made my son uneasy when they were running around him. All other dog owners were sensible.
Cheesy chips from the cafe after a beautiful walk The walk is uneven ground but not too far for little legs. Play area is great.
