A nice place to come if you want a quiet break and you like lots of walking and own a dog. No mobile phone signal here, so you need to pay for WiFi. The site is very well maintained, though the grass cutting & hedge trimming did start early in the mornings. The toilet/shower block was clean & tidy. We didn't use the shop as there were limited opening times/days, so we had to go off site to top up our supplies. The playground was good for the kids. There is plenty of space for them to runaround. They also enjoyed the pitch & putt. We asked for adjoining pitches, which we did get, but a high hedge between us! Bit puzzling when there were vacant pitches next to us with no hedge between! On the whole, it was a nice place to stay to get away from it all.
Stayed in our tourer…fab large level pitches Wonderful site and immaculate, the dog walking field was the best I’ve seen and an added bonus is shop on site well stocked shop bar and resturant. We’ll definitely return. Edit - I’ve just read some reviews concerning customer service and I’m astonished at the comments from other reviews ! I found every member of the team from booking through to the shop and bar exemplary…. And to say that the site cared more about the maintenance over an enjoyable experience for their customers completely untrue…. This is the most well maintained site we have visited. !
Very nice site, well kept and with lots to do, play park for the kids, badminton and tennis nets, pitch and putt and some lovely walks. Good clean showers and toilets. Nice little pub on site that does terrific food, very friendly and not over priced. The only complaint was the waste water disposal. The one nearest our pitch was toilet height, so if you've not got the pipes to connect to the drains and you let your waste water butt fill up, you'll have trouble emptying it. Other than that, a really nice place to stay.
Fantastic place for camping or tourers. Everything that you need is here, from 9 hole pitch & putt to a lovely, but small pub with gorgeous food. Shower block is clean and well maintained and a perfect manicured field for walking your best friend! Best place we have been to.
Lovely place but unfortunately way too picky with rules, some of which don't even make sense. It's obvious the place is going downhill because the shop is hardly ever open and the takeaway vans etc don't go round any more. If you're an older adult only group that go to bed at 10 and don't want to socialize probably a lovely spot for a quiet break, otherwise , I'd steer clear.
Went here a while back and really liked it. We need to go back! Nice to wander round the golf course and statics with the dog. There were bird scarers going off so that spooked the dog a bit. Otherwise nice site

We have been camping with you for 4yrs . Friendly staff . Shower and toilet facilities are very clean , lots of facilities for children. Will be back again next yrsService: 5/5
We stayed here for two nights on Friday 1st and Saturday 2nd October. This is a lovely site. Massive pitches with plenty of room between each of them and very level. The toilets and showers are spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. There's a very large dog walking area and a large playground with what looks like plenty for kids to do. The site is right next to a lovely pub, which does lovely food and drink. We didn't use the shop on site as we took everything we needed and is only open for three hours a day, at the moment. This is a lovely site, but make sure you take things you need as it's quite a long walk into Peterchurch and the road is very busy. As previous reviews have said, there's virtually no phone signal and very intermittent Internet. As for the TV signal, there is some and we never found it a problem. Would l recommend this site, definitely and we will be going there again.
