Bromyard Downs Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
"The Bromyard Downs Caravan Club Campsite is situated in Herefordshire’s beautiful countryside, with woodland walks and pretty scenes only a stone’s throw away. Nearby you’ll also find the cathedral cities of Worcester and Hereford, which offer up ample doses of history and culture, whereas those seeking to stay away from the hustle and bustle of cities will be able to do so easily. From the site itself you’ll be able to explore Bromyard Downs and the National Trust Estate at Brockhampton. Both offer plenty of walks, with the site also allowing for dogs if you’d like to bring the family pet along. Local bus links will take you further afield; museums, historic houses, steam railways all within a short trip away."

This is a fantastic little site no toilet block which is says in the book. The greased is cut and the site kept lovely and clean with lovely flower beds. Some of the pitch are on the small side, but we had a lovely big with our awning. There is some road noise which didn't wake us up at all. The wardens are very friendly great for dogs as lots of walking off site with been by the downs. We would definitely come back.
Helpful friendly wardens and very well kept site. Not keen on the idea of being allocated a pitch with no say on where we would like to be on the site. The exact position where the caravan had to be on the pitch was marked out with white marks on the ground and we weren't allowed to back the caravan onto the pitch. We had to use our motor mover. The site is on 2 levels with only 30 pitches. Being right next to the main road traffic noise can be a nuisance. Tree lined so no views from the pitch. No Internet.
No toilets... Its clearly stated in the book... but we completly missed that info. Internet reception is poor... But the camping grounds are wonderfull.. the staff very friendly and if you are looking for a perfectly quiet spot... go here!!
What a strange place. Was invited by my sister to visit her recently on their way back from Exeter. On arrival we were asked who we were coming to visit. We gave her name but they couldn't confirm that they were on site due to GDPR. Surely the same rules apply to us when giving a name. They would still not accept they were on site until she was made to walk from her caravan to the reception. And we were made to wait and call her and only when she stood in person would they accept they were actually on site.... What a performance What a strange world we are now living in. Nothing like a nice welcoming site????
Had the makings of a good site but, traffic noise was quite loud, plus the wardens were not on the ball regarding pitching rules. See photo, noting how far the caravan is from the pitch marker, won’t be going again. Oh, and the local bus service does NOT allow dogs, never encountered that before.
A great little camp site caretakers very helpful and some great walks from there Dog-friendliness: A great place for walking your dog
Nice little site but does suffer from road noise
Lovely site big improvement from the last one we were on warden's work extremely hard on the flower displays
Lovely site very well cared for staff first class. But no buses or taxes and a bit too far to walk to town. Thanks to thee wardens for helping out in a major crisis. Dog-friendliness: Nice Picnic area: Every where Barbecue: No problems
Beautiful none toilet block site, quite, the. Warden's were excellent, helpful, and friendly , hardstanding, and grass pitches, easy to get to, no kids area.
