I almost didn't leave a review for the selfish reason that I don't want this place to become so busy you can't book! We've only been here for a weekend but the place could not be more perfect. Our dog loves the river and the exercise area, there are plenty of other dogs to play with if he wanted, and yet they're all on leads inside the campsite so as not to bother folks who don't have dogs. The pitches are all individually separated and the center green and children's play areas are a great facility for keeping the kids entertained. The site is quite small and enclosed which adds a nice sense of security, giving us piece of mind while the children play. The toilets and shower facilities are immaculate! I genuinely don't think I've been to a site with such excellent facilities. And finally... The food! A pizza company turn up on a Friday night, making handmade and delicious Pizzas in a coal/wood fired oven. On a Saturday you get the burger van visit, doing big old burgers and loaded fries! We will be making this place a regular holiday as long as whoever is reading this doesn't steal our spot!!
