Wow, warm and friendly welcoming pub. Very nice , quality food and service. Real village life pub , with all the trimmings. Thank you for a great afternoon/ night. Highly recommended.
A well run pub with good food and drinks served. Today we were celebrating my mate Farley's 7th birthday.
No complaints here. The staff were very accommodating. Food is good pub grub. Nice outdoor seating and a fair size car park
Went there on Saturday for birthday meal with my family. Fantastic staff, really helpful, excellent service, food first class. Really enjoyed our time and would recommend it to anyone. Informal, relaxed atmosphere, will be returning
I strongly suggest you don't go hear at the moment. Me and six mates booked a table for a Thursday evening, arrived to be told the kitchen would be closing in half an hour and the bar an hour after that. Prices have been inflated and portions have gone down. The food wasn't great and we didn't really feel welcome. It wasn't helped when they started cleaning the floor just after 9pm and the strong smell of bleach put the remaining punters off. Desserts were a total rip off. Will be off to the Owl up the road next time.
Excellent service from Manager & Staff good Food. Small accessible Toilet was okay for me as have adolescent size NHS Manual Wheelchair . Ramp front entrance into venue & three Blue Badge Parking bays.
Just got home from a lovely meal !!! a pre Christmas get together for 9 family members . A variety of starters and main meals were had all very tasty and hot . Service was excellent all staff making you feel very welcome. Thankyou for a nice evening will be back Happy Christmas to you all .
We visited as a group of 12 retired people for a Christmas lunch ..carpark was dangerous as not gritted ,cold inside, meals were bland and unappetising... we told them it was cold they gave an electric fire which didnt work - we contacted the manager to express our disappointment and did not even get a reply... We had advanced booked and our food orders were already known and left very disappointed the whole experience
Food was good. Service polite and efficient. Nice pub overall. Gunness superb
I had a chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich on granary brown bread, which was served with the internal ingredients warm and was very tasty if not a bit pricey at almost £10. My wife had a lemon and lime cheesecake, which was very fresh and homemade. We also had 2 Pimms and lemonade, which were served in glass goblets and very well presented. The beer garden was cool and relaxing under big trees, though furniture could do with some urgent renovation.
