Excellent overnight stay in the Dales. The food is fantastic. Full of flavour and an excellent beer selection too. Rooms are clean and tidy with comfy beds. The breakfast again was excellent. Great sausages. Heavy work after the brilliant pie the night before though!
Fabulous Sunday lunch and scrumptious steak pie, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Generous portions at extremely reasonable prices. Beautiful location and plenty of outdoor tables for warmer days. Not been for many years but will definitely be back! Highly recommended.
Cosy little family and dog friendly pub with two log burning fires. Lovely fresh ale with a good variety behind the bar and the food is first class Chunky chips are cooked in dripping, need i say more! The menu has been carefully selected to offer a varied choice without being daunting or restrictive and the food is prepared and cooked to perfection. It is remote and tables are limited so I would suggest calling ahead we did arrive Christmas week though. I travelled from Leeds and the scenery is breathtaking, twinned with the Highlands of Scotland in places! If you are able to book a table then I suggest you do, you won't be disappointed.
We had a meal in this fabulous local pub whilst staying in Litton. The best ever Lamb pie, beautiful braised lamb with a lamb cutlet all encased in lovely short crust pastry. Two of our party had this, one other had the chicken burger which was declared the best ever pub/restaurant burger, one other had the chicken pie, again beautiful. We all had lovely crispy chunky chips. For starters we had the gorgeous battered king prawns pictured. Six huge prawns served in a mini bucket with garlic mayo. Highly recommended.
Absolutely wonderful experience staying at The Queens Arms. Excellent place with beautiful surroundings. The beers brewed on site are fantastic and the food was so fresh and delicious order the pies!. Highly recommend for a quiet weekend away with a partner/friend or for family trips.
Very good people made me feel very welcome. Even with my drunken wife, lol. The food was amazing and served to the table hot. This pub is worth a visit if you are in the area.
A lovely country pub with its own brewery so the beer is tasty. The locals use it so it has a lively bar but we had a very pleasant and quieter meal in the other room I thoroughly recommend you visit this pub for a great experience.
A one night stop over for a bit of walking in this glorious land. Great food, as always, lovely local ales, cozy open fire, friendly locals and the ever friendly and lovely landlady, Michelle. We'll be back again and again.
Good food, good cask ale brewed on the premises. A small menu of very good food, real fire and quaintness in abundance. Friendly helpful staff, great location and a decent car park. What's not to like?
A real Yorkshire Dales pub , with good beer, and good grub. Plenty of outdoor space and seating when the weather allows. Very traditional pub inside and there are four refurbed rooms if you want to make a night of it. It starts bit out of the way but worth the lovely drive through Littondale.
