Right at the heart of Kettlewell and the base of Whernside. Lovely fireplace, pints and grub.Service: 5/5
A great location in the Yorkshire Dales. Cozy pub, open fire. Lovely rooms. Very welcoming hosts. Food, rather gourmet, fine dining which might not be cheap n cheerful enough for the average hungry hiker. Full English breakfast was great. I would definitely stay again and would recommend others to try it too.
The staff were nice and friendly. The room was clean and tidy. We had a few flies in but we got rid of them. The breakfast was very nice and hot. The eggs were just right and the sausage were tasty. And checking in and out was easy.Rooms: 5/5
Superb location for a long weekend in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. The room was very tastefully decorated. Comfortable nights sleep - maybe aided by the superb locally brewed Wharfedale real ale. Popular with locals and an extremely friendly landlord. Very good value for money staycation. Ideal for the many local walks.
Amazing food and service. Best meal I have eaten in a long, long while. Lovely friendly staff. If you really enjoy your food I cannot recommend highly enough!! Well done to all at Kings Head.
Such delicious creative food served in this interesting old pub. Staff work so hard even though its difficult times for the stretched service industry. The menu is stunning and the meals served were of local quality produce. Impeccable.
Our room at the top of two flights of stairs was very basic for the price,£100.00 no toiletries apart from a supermarket hand soap dispenser and one toilet roll, the view of the church was great, but be warned it does chime all night through. We had fish and chips that we very good, curiously the tartare sauce had onion in it which wasn’t ideal. The breakfast was good, just one waitress so service a little sporadic.
