Came across this restaurant while walking around. The serves here is amazing. The server was so nice and friendly and recommended such a delicious dish. I enjoyed my Pan Friend Bangers & Mash so much. Great welcome meal to my first time in Dublin. Also my meal came out really fast. Finished dinner with a delicious hot chocolate. Resonance prices and excellent service and great atmosphere. Would recommend.
Great pub with awesome Irish food. We went for dinner on a Tuesday about 6:30 and were able to be seated right away. Being located in Temple Bar, it started to fill up shortly after. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I had a smoked salmon, prawn and spinach pasta and a bowl of seafood chowder. My daughter has the cottage pie. Both were fantastic!
Good food, but it took a very long time. 30-40 minutes. I wouldn’t recommend the wings as they were pretty small so overcooked but the Caesar salad and both soups were great. Very helpful allergen guide on the menu.
Amazing place to have a good Irish dinner. It is a bit small and thus often crowded but the food is delicious and there is a wide range of choice. I strongly recommend to try the cottage pie for true comfort food. The service was kind and lively, price was average. We really enjoyed our dinner.
Was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was here. It’s in a very touristy area, but it was honestly really good. Seafood chowder was really thick with lots of fish and mussels. The fish and chips were also really fresh. Staff was friendly and quick service
This place was okay, but the service wasn’t amazing. Firstly, I should mention that the food was very good and arrived quickly. They also had good portions and the meal wasn’t too expensive. However, when we arrived we asked for a table of two and we were told we’d get a table in about 10-15 minutes. We waited more like half an hour. This was annoying because we probably would have preferred to have gone elsewhere had we known. When we were sat down, it felt quite claustrophobic and crowded. And we had to chase up getting drinks which arrived after our food did. It also took quite a long time to be able to pay, and we had to be proactive and stop someone every time we wanted food. So I probably wouldn’t come back here.
Great find in the Temple Bar. So good we’ve been twice, & the food was awesome both times. Fresh, hot & delicious, huge portions, & wait staff that are constantly on the move. Lively pub with tons of atmosphere, the bar side is more fun than the kitchen side.
During my recent stay in Dublin, I visited the Quays Pub for a meal and a drink. The location of the pub was very convenient, as it was close to my hotel and easy to find. Upon arriving, my friend and I were seated upstairs and were immediately served by the friendly staff. However, we were warned that the kitchen was due to close in 15 minutes, which made us feel a bit rushed. We hurriedly made an order and the food and drink we received were delicious. I had the Irish stew and Guinness, which were both very tasty, and my friend had a soup and salad. However, I made the mistake of having a heavy meal so late at night, which resulted in a sleepless night almost. This was definitely not the fault of the pub, but rather my own poor judgement. As we didn't stay long, I didn't get a particularly strong impression of the pub. The staff were friendly and accommodating, but it was clear that they were getting ready to close for the night. Overall, while my experience at the Quays Pub was decent, it wasn't particularly memorable or noteworthy. However, this may be due to my own fatigue and hunger at the time. In summary, if you're in the area and looking for a pub to grab a meal and a drink, the Quays Pub is a decent option.
Service was good and everything came out quickly and hot however not very good. Out of all the lamb stews I’ve had in Ireland this was the worst one. Husband’s cottage pie was not good either, vegetables still weren’t cooked and the gravy didn’t have much flavor. The seafood chowder was good though and I am not usually a fan.
The soup was lovely got the chicken burger was no taste off it only for blue cheese dip. My sister had fish which she said was not great the muscles look fab and I tasted one and lovely flavour the service was brilliant there was 8 of us and mixed reviews one last tip don't get dipping bread big disappointment Food: 3/5
