A small old restaurant with good menu options. We had our lunch here and were content with the taste of food if not for the Fries and Smoked Salmon in the Fish Platter which was dry and didn't seem fresh. Among all the items we ordered Chicken Au Poivre was the highlight and we enjoyed it. Staffs were very courteous and quick with the service. There were film shield placed to avoid direct contact between tables. There is a difference in the menu rates mentioned online versus what's actually charged at the restaurant. The restaurant may need tablewares replaced and an internal uplift.
Nice little place serving traditional Irish food. We tried for dinner, got the stews which tasted pretty good, hearty tasted better than jt looks in the picture though not one of our favourite places we tried on our trip to Dublin.
Very good beef stew and fried fish. Young and friendly staff. They serve traditional dishes for average prices and we weren't charged for service and tap water. All in all, we had a good Irish dinner! Vegetarian options: Stir fried vegetable noodles, salads Wheelchair accessibility: No steps to enter the restaurant but many steps to the toilets
We went here today 28th of May, 2022. My god the steak was lovely and the waiters were lovely too. We purchased this offer on Groupon medium cooked sirlion steak chips, side salad and pepper sauce We had it for our lunch at 1 and still full it's now 8.30. Easy to find and would highly recommend 5stars
Lovely place better food. You have to try the Irish stew. Yesterday was my second time here and won't be the last and my friends love the place. The staff is lovely, it was my birthday and they sang to me. Love this place.
Had a voucher from Living Social for here for 2 x 10oz steaks. Both Steaks were cooked perfectly. Really nice meal overall and definitely worth the price.Food: 5/5
I was quite hungry and decided to have an Assorted Fish Platter for dinner at this traditional Irish restaurant. It was gigantic! I had only breakfast in the morning but this was huge! Had to ask for more sauce and a lemon to go with along with two Guinness. It was delicious: Deep Fried Cod, Smoked Salmon & Breaded Scampi with Fries & Tartare Sauce Assorted Fish Platter
Perfect for an Irish food experience. I had the Guiness beef stew and it was delicious. We also ordered the fish and chips, the steak and the mixed grill, all really good as well.
Came here on a whim on a Friday evening for a girls night dinner and it was so lovely! The staff are so attentive and friendly and the food was absolutely incredible! We had chicken pate, chicken wings, Irish stew, and the chefs special steak between the 3 of us and everything was delicious. The pepper sauce that came with the steak was so yum. Would definitely recommend a visit!
Nice cosy restaurant. Only tried the steak which was cooked perfect. Slightly fatty but nice overall. Will be back to try something different on the menu.
