Except the fact the lady is nice, I have NOTHING POSITIVE to say about this place! I gave a dress I wanted altered to my waist size. Even though she measured me she defiantly didn't work by those measurments since the dress DOESN'T FIT ANYMORE. The hem shown in the picture, I mean... not only a terrible looking hem, but CROOKED SEWING as well! I went and asked for my money back but got only half of it back. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.
This lady is great! Fast, affordable and she is very friendly. I took her a dress to be shortened, she used the excess fabric to make me a complimentary scarf that goes with the dress! I'm extremely happy and would recommend this place although it is a little bit messy inside
This lady is a dream. Friendly, affordable, fast, and the 2 dresses I've had hemmed & altered by her turned out great. She even ran me up a little surprise accessory out of the cut off fabric from one. Very happy to have Quality Alterations as my secret wardrobe weapon.
1. She SMOKES WHILE SEWING! Expect anything you leave in her shop to stink like cigarettes. 2. She doesnt pin anything...she guesstimates which equals shoddy work. I left a dress to be taken up at the waist. It came back with crooked stitching and uneven folds - when I brought it back she explained that she had sewn it inside out and didnt check it for neatness....SERIOUSLY? It took 4 weeks and three visits for her to undo her sloppy sewing - and she returned it to me with an unfixabke hole smack in the front of the dress. Avoid at all costs.
This is an excellent place for alterations, I have used them 6 times since moving to N1. Not only are they the most reasonable, the lady in there is very skilled and can do anything you want. Worth traveling for,
Decent prices really nice lady who knows how to fix anything nice service and good alteration store looks a bit disorganised however she knows exactly what's going on and doesn't make me wait too long to pick up.
Do not allow these people anywhere near your clothes. They really don't care and do not understand the meaning of the word professional. One pair of trousers I had altered is too long, the other too short. The thread is the wrong colour and they ironed the outside too hot leaving shiny patches. I also had to get them to re-see the hem because the first attempt was a total mess. Avoid avoid avoid.
So ridiculously bad. Left a skirt that was then pretty much destroyed. Was supposed to wear it for my wedding after party. Now need to get a new one with short notice.
Awful. I had some alterations to my coat and my GoPro was stolen out of my coat pocket while it was there. Find somewhere else.
Did a fantastic job fixing a bridesmaid dress my girlfriend needed repairing would highly recommend!
