Story

Quaglino’s, the iconic restaurant and late-night venue in the heart of London’s Mayfair, has undergone an extensive make over at the hands of Russell Sage Studio and brings a new contemporary European menu from new Executive head chef Mickael Weiss.

The venue also boasts not one, but two exciting new bars – a glamorous new central cocktail bar in the heart of the main dining room and Quaglino’s classic mezzanine bar overlooking the restaurant – both serving tipples with a taste of the past, heavily focusing on classic and champagne cocktails, while the 300 bin wine list showcases a balanced mix of Old and New World references.

Later in the evening, the restaurant transforms into a late-night, live-music mecca; one of the only venues in Mayfair open to the public with a late-night license and free entry, perfect for partying into the early hours.

We're set to re-open our doors for dinner on Wednesday 8th October, revealing a stunning new interior, contemporary European menu and an exclusive late-night chapter...

Very welcoming atmosphere, security on door were great and polite, lady who seated us was lovely and helped us with our request which we were very grateful for. However, our waiter was very rushed, from the moment we sat down he said we only had 2 hours so had to take our order ‘now’. I respect the time frame, but didn’t want to feel rushed. The food was amazing, came out quick. We ordered a side each for our main, but you only need one! The atmosphere was amazing, We felt very lucky to be seated at the front, thank you again for this. The entertainment was perfect. We also got a lovely birthday plate, although we were charged for this, which we weren’t aware of? When we paid, at the end of our 2 hours, we asked to move to the bar to finish our drinks and the waiter said ‘if you can find a seat yes’ and we have never had to move our own drinks, especially at a place of this standard. Overall, the rushed service let us down slightly, but this can be overlooked as we loved our experience and the food. Thank you team x
Nice, classy atmosphere. Live music was very good. Special mention to Marco, our fantastic, attentive waiter. The food - although beautifully presented - was average in terms of taste, and some dishes were disappointing pumpkin risotto with strong cheese and a slab of shitake mushroom which was cooked with seaweed in order to taste of fish. The main reason for 3 stars is the very slow dinner service: seated at 19.30, starters at 20.30, and the following courses spaced an hour apart.
I celebrated my birthday here, and it was amazing! The live music created a great atmosphere, and our waiter, Giuseppe, was so kind and attentive Delicious food and excellent service – highly recommend!Food: 4/5
Lovely place brilliant for photos and great for an evening out with music! They have live music sets which just adds to the atmosphere you could spend hours in there . Lovely drinks as well definitely pricey but for the location it's worth going!Food: 4/5
Fantastic experience, as always! We absolutely enjoyed every cocktail recommended to us from the new menu. My personal favourite was Ruby with hints of beetroot sweetness. Every drink is prepared with extra attention to details. The menu is full of delicious, sometimes unexpected but always delicious and elegant combinations of flavours. Every cocktail is a masterpiece. We also tried the pistachio fondant and, oh my, it was incredible. The service was second to none. We were looked after all the time. I’d recommend this place for any occasion. We were lucky enough to also experience live music that day. We’ll be back again, thank you Quaglinio’s.
The staffs are very good and I am very impressed. The atmosphere of the restaurant is good and the food is very delicious. Everything is impressive and there is nothing to fault. I will definitely go back again.Food: 5/5
Lovely atmospheric evening. Such a treat to listen to some live jazz. Couldn't fault the food. Very attentive service, only slight downside and I'm being picky was coffee was luke warm and it took a while to get the bill. But I would give 4.9 out of5 stars. We will go back.Food: 5/5
A plethora maybe Velour 3m ceiling mounted track railed curtains cover the partition walls to the kitchen and serving area on the lower ground, the swag on the curtains gives a nice aesthetic. At the stage end where the music is played, a very nice heavy duty track mounted 7m dropped swag curtains, not sure if they are hand cranked or electric/cord/belt/chain operated, never the less they give a pleasing backdrop to the stage and live music. The par38 lights were very dim, so quite dark to read food menus. Small spotlights on walkways were gu10s by the looks. The food was nice, the staff were very attentive, drinks were good, music was good, although I recommend avoiding the cinnamon cocktail most displeasing drink.
Firstly, great ambience. The food was great, we came here; family and friends to celebrate my sister’s EMBA graduation from the London Business School. The music was calm and the private room we got could provide the music we wanted. The service was implacable as we got served how and where we wanted. The toilets were also clean and a really appreciated that. I would come again. Parking: The restricted parking has been suspended till 07/07/2024. Please make sure you display a parking ticket.
Top place in London for food and celebrations. The atmosphere is incredible. Live music is outstanding. The food is delicious and the staff are super nice. Of course it's expensive, but you pay for what you get.Food: 5/5
