Today after a short visit to hospital with my son I broke down in the car park. I assumed a flat battery, but did not have breakdown cover in place. I called the staff in the car park to let them know and soon after Carl and Dave appeared with a jump start machine which started my car first attempt. I am so thankful for their kindness and ability to respond. I was able to get home safely thanks to them. Carl and Dave are a credit to the company.
Just want to say a huge thank you to car park manager, Debbie, for turning what was a bit of a nightmare into a positive experience after my wife's car catastrophically failed in the car park. Debbie could not be more helpful or reassuring - not something I was expecting in this day and age - turning a very stressful situation into a positive. She even offered to make my wife a cup of tea while waiting for recovery. It was so nice to come across someone who really cared about her customers. Debbie - you are an example of how it should be done. Excellent in every way. Thank you again.
The member of staff today at your Q park site was outstanding, his name is Mike the traffic was absolute chaos he was directing traffic into the disabled parking area it was absolutely pouring with rain, his friendly manner and organisation was just great he is a credit to your company. People are to quick to complain but not give credit where credits is due.
Now a day a normal wait time in ED is 4 hours or above just to see a doctor and then the tests takes more time which I understand as NHs is in crises. Musgrove park hospital covers about 50 mile radius so there is no other option for people like us other then to drive, the charges are the highest I have ever seen anywhere and the sneaky thing is after 4 hours you get to pay for 24 hours, there is no 4 to 6 hourly rate or anything similar, it just jumps from 4 till 24 hours. The staff are very rude as well and no body come to ED just for fun and most of the time leaves ED exhausted more and not fully recovered, my believe is as human beings we need to be nice to each other especially in hospitals and simple caring words help rather then treating other people like a burden to talk to. Thanks.
My wife was rushed into musgrove yesterday evening , parked my loan vehicle in the multistorey car park , I came out , much later to get something to eat off site nothing open /all vending machines I could find were not working only to find vehicle wouldn't start !went to Q park office to find it closed , rang number on door and DAVID answered this man is a beyond a star , he appeared with a jump starter and got me going , I was very stressed and worried as my wife was at the time was VERY ill . DAVID thank you smuchsmuch
On the 9th August at about 20.30 I was ready to drive off from the hospital grounds after an MRI scan. It was a long a tiring day. To my horror my car would not start. I phoned RAC and alerted Dave re-assured me that however long the wait would be I wont be charged extra and that I was safe. As RAC was not expected for hours my neighbour came to take me home. Dave extremely kindly agreed to look after the car and to help RAC man to locate it. The latter didn't turn up until 10 am the next day ! and towed the car to the garage. Q-park staff assisted RAC and indeed never charged me for leaving the car for the night. This is a big thank you from me to Dave and his colleagues - you eased the blow of what could have been a nightmare experience. I felt safe and looked after and I knew my car was safe too!
Came to Musgrove to take my disabled and visually impaired grandmother to the eye hospital to find out Q-Park have changed their parking around to a different area that now only had about 40 disabled bays and once they are full you either have to wait and potentially miss your appointment or park into the multi story which isn’t free if you have a disabled badge anymore plus it’s no where near the hospital and when you can’t walk long distances and it’s poorly lit it’s a joke!!
Easy to park, light and clean.. also has reduced cost options if your going to be parking for more than a few days if your visiting a patient or staying longer in hospital..
Posting review on behalf of my father. My mother had been in hospital having been assessed for a possible blood clot in her leg. When preparing to leave the car park, he had to present my Mum's disabled badge at the parking lodge. The operative was rude and inconsiderate, complaining that my Mum had not brought the badge over herself. Seeing as she was unable to walk that would have been difficult, but apparently that was "not his problem". Learning basic manners clearly wasn't his problem either.
Total rip-off parking, You go there to visit or an appointment and it costs a fortune, any other hospital car park is half the price. People aren’t there for fun of it. People I’ll, people Dying. YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED.
