I wanted to say how extremely impressed I was today by the team in the Maxillofacial Department. Dr Alex Rawlins and her team were a class act. I am so impressed with they way they handled my case from consultation to the actual operation, and wanted to give them a big 'Thank you!!!' This team are a real credit to the hospital and to the NHS. Fantastic!!
Hi I am home now but on Tuesday 17th I had to be taken to Musgrove A&E with pain in my chest and down my arm. Once in A&E I collapsed. The staff were there around me in seconds and got me on a trolley. From then I was treated with the best care and attention I could have asked for. The A&E doctor kept me up to date with what was going on. I was taken to the coronary care unit where under Dr Connolly and her team, a stent was put in. Again all the team where fantastic I wish I could remember names. My wife was also very well looked after. I went onto the ward and recovered over night, on the Wednesday my heart stopped and I had to be resuscitated, and then went back and had two more stents fitted. I wish I had the words to express my and my wife's gratitude to the whole of the Musgrove team from the first step I made into the building to the last, as I was discharged. If only the government would spend the money WE give them to the right places, as I had to get our neighbour to take me as the Ambulance was taking too long.nThank you Musgrove Team for allowing me to be able walk out of your hospital and continue my life.nPlease pass this on to all the teams involved.
I was admitted on 8th April for a planned day surgery. The receptionist greeted me warmly and within a few minutes I was taken in to the ward area. A nurse introduced herself and dealt with me throughout. Shortly after the surgeon came to see me to discuss what was going to happen. She was very positive and inspired confidence as did the anaesthetist who came shortly afterwards. I was accompanied to the theatre. Everyone there was friendly and set me at ease. I woke an hour and a half later having had my op. Soon tea and toast were really welcome !!! The nurse checked on me constantly. In the early evening the surgeon visited me as she was finishing her time in the theatre to confirm that the surgery had gone really well.nI cannot praise everybody who dealt with me highly enough from beginning to end. I was a little apprehensive about surgery but really didn't need to be.nSo my thanks to all the staff who took care of me . You were wonderful!!!!
Absolutely dirty out dated staff just want to chat while waiting time is 10 hours on 34 people. I would never recommend coming to this hospital the filth is unreal cleaners and staff need sacked and replaced to do a better job and keep the hospital clean at all times. Where you get your food you have all kinds of bugs all windows in and out cluttered with cob webs bins are full in and out toilet looks like it's never had a clean the floors probably only been mopped once when it was first layed never will I ever use this disgusting hospital again. I'd rather die.
Thursday last week was a scary time, full of uncertainty, anxiety sky rocketed and all I can say is the Gynecology team, especially a wonderful lady called Hannah made me feel overwhelmed with compassion, due care and attention and made me better in time for my Son's birthday! You guy's honestly from start to finish handled this emotional mess like Superheroes. I can not tell you in words how at ease you made me feel, how appreciative I am and what a beautiful bunch of humans you are! Never stop being the compassionate, caring wonderful people you are! You're what makes a difference to this World. Truly thank you! 5 service couldn't have asked for more !
