I used this car park in Nov 2021 to take our daughter to Disney on Ice, the fee and parking were excellent. We followed our Sat Nav however we were then hit with a bus lane fine on our return. I understand many others have had this issue especially those from out of town it's not clear enough or stated this had changed or no access for car park users... It's cost our family £348 and many others have been fined...
Nice, well lit car park, with plenty of spaces and for a change, the spacing between cars is more than average, so it is nice and easy to get in and out of your car. Quite a secure car park as there is a barrier that opens upon arrival, sort of makes it look closed, but it opens quickly as you approach it, and the way back in on foot is managed by scanning your ticket by the entrances behind the lifts. It's not the cheapest, but it is definite a 'you get what you pay for' car park, definitely recommend.
Very large parking spaces, easy access, in the middle of the Manchester city. Clean, modern, secure. Paid by card after at the machine. It is £8 after 19 o' clock no matters how many hours in the night could have left at 22 or 23 or midnight would have been the same 8 quids. While you approach the entrance wait a little bit in front of the shutters to open.
Very well laid out, safe, spacious carpark. Which I use frequently. However past two occasions and today 3/12/22 absolute disgrace how customers think they can abandon their cars at ends of bays, parking on corners and alongside ramps up and down. I drive a large estate car and how I did not hit the cars parked on corners as there was so little room to manoeuvre. Obviously the barrier in is not counting cars in and out. So it is a free for all. Avoid like the plague at this time of year!!! You have been warned!
Used this car park 01/10/22, I have used Q Parks before and they are simply the best car parks. Leeds Q Park was lovely and clean but it’s the large parking spaces which I go for. No issues with other cars banging your vehicle, ideally located for the AO arena and shopping in the centre. Highly recommended !
Very poor experience at this Q Park today - the car park was full, but had no signage to indicate this and was still letting vehicles in. Along with probably a dozen other cars we spent 15 minutes fruitlessly looking for a space, before having to leave and drive to another non Q Park location. This meant we were late for a matinee theatre performance. Absolutely unacceptable from a modern car parking facility.
Excellent location with large bays and well lit. Good value when validated at Royal Exchange. Careful not to stray into bus lane just outside. Ample parking on 2nd floor when 1st is usually full. Main car park doors are shut until you get near to them.
Booked car park as suggested by ticket master personally feel they had way over booked as there was no spaces was driving round all floors for about 20/30mins trying to get a spot there was customers arguing in there shouting at each other about a parking space as there wasn't any spaces having to wait for people to leave to quickly get in there spot. Not monitored that well people where getting blocked in by other cars
One of the best carparks I have used in this country. It is clean and safe, with ample lighting and signage. The prebook system was easy. The confirmation and instruction was prompt and detailed. Though not the cheapest, but the scanning technology worked seamlessly the moment your car approached the shuttered entrance. Wish all paying carparks are like that.
We Pre-booked the car park for what we thought was a premium price expecting a high level of service. Security of parking was excellent however, the QR code issued would not work and it was a nightmare to get to our car and once we got to our car, couldn’t get out of the car park. Also, as we pre-booked, we assumed there would be a space for us upon arrival. This was not the case. The car park was letting any car in, causing a backlog around the car park and had to wait and search for a parking bay. We got lucky after circa 1 hour of driving around it being in the right area of the car park at the right time to get parked. Probably isn’t worth pre-booking and for the price, the extra hassle doesn’t make it worth it.
