I like this gym, it is quite large and I would imagine is probably now the most popular gym in the whole of Canterbury due to puregym price/24 hr/student discounts.nnPros: The staff are really friendly and helpful, Never have I had a bad experience with them. Machines, there are plenty and since the upgrade some are even brand new , this is really good as are weights and stretch areas.nnCons: Since the upgrade, this gym has probably doubled/tripled in members I think this is due to the thousands of new properties at Riverside. This means its becoming very busy when previously it wasn't, for instance people asking to cut in with my workout where previously this had never happened.nAnother problem is there is often no soap in the mens toilet, I understand there has been some issue with it being stolen? But I really feel for someone that does a number two and then realises this issue, joking aside my idea is to put a soap in one of the staff rooms and this way it would be harder for someone to steal.nnOverall I would say this is a great gym, its 5 star in my opinion, but I think any gripes/annoyances with this gym is due to Sturry Puregym becoming a victim of its own success.
Jack at Pure Gym was a great help with getting me comfortable in the gym and showing me how to use the TRX machine. Pure gym is amazing, love my time spent here!
Big gym, clean, friendly staff, just had an update so it looks like new, with new equipment 24hr access all you need
Ok, not the best pure gym.nnGym it self is large, has good length parking and fair amount of cardio machines. 24h open and pretty cheap compared to other gym around.nnEquipment layout is bit trash. Weight plates are everywhere, really messy and no care in the place.nnThere is only 1 deadlift platform placed very awkwardly, 80% of the machine are quite poor so you get what you pay.
Good gym, new.Lot of different classes you can enjoy and very helpful trainers.Pure gym is kind of basic gym,but its very good.Not to forget it's opened 24 hours-hudge bonus.
