Story

¡Hola! and welcome to Punch Bar and Tapas, the newest addition to the Mustard and Punch Group. Situated in the heart of Honley, Punch brings a taste of Spain to the Holme Valley.

Owners, Rick and Wayne, have been long established within the village with their beautiful restaurant Mustard and Punch and aim to provide another wonderful dining experience, this time with a bit of European flair!

Punch Bar and Tapas provides a casual, social dining experience, great for a catch up with friends, a family get together – we have a popular kid’s menu, or a relaxed date night. The menu combines traditional Spanish with a modern British twist ranging from albondigas, croquetas and squid to braised pigs cheeks and onglet steak. The produce reflects this with many ingredients imported from Spain such as the classic Bellota Jamon and Jabugitos Chorizo. We also believe in supporting local businesses; Rogers bakery delivers our fresh Sourdough and Atkinsons butchers provides us with some fantastic cuts of meat.

In addition to being a great place to dine, we welcome those just calling for a drink in our bar area. There is the opportunity to sample different Spanish beers and spirits whilst again showcasing some of our fantastic local brewers and distilleries. The cocktail list combines classics with some Punch originals, and of course, Sangria! Our wine list has been carefully crafted with predominantly Spanish and South American grape varieties, yet with a diverse selection to suit all palates.
