Nice place, food looks and smells good. Shame I only had time to fly through as it was 50% off barman said it is every Thursday & Friday at the mo up til 3 as it's been a bit quieter recently . I had a pint of the tropical pale and it was lovely, not over loaded with a fruit syrup as some of the fruited ales can be.
Went on a Saturday late afternoon, early evening. There was very limited food on as they had no pepperoni or goats cheese. Plenty of choices to drink and loads of seating. When it looks busy at the front, there are some further tables at the back so have a complete check before moving onto somewhere else. Staff also very nice and talkative.
Came on a Thursday night to celebrate a friends birthday. Seems to be deals on drinks most nights of the week but none of a Thursday - a bottle of Prosecco is £28 which is extremely overpriced! Wanted to have some food, they were only serving pizza no nibble boards but this isn’t advertised or advised when you come in, meaning no allergies are catered for and we had to go elsewhere. Really lacking in atmosphere, poor service, expensive and disappointing.
Really cool place. So glad that Stockport is on the up, especially with this new bar. Good staff. Very helpful and friendly Good pizza. They do need to start having puddings also... Good prices. Good toilets. Good atmosphere. All round a fab place.
It's a great little venue with a lot of character and in a very modern style. We went on a Wednesday evening, and it still had considerable life about it. The range of ale on tap is fantastic, with something for every taste. The pizza menu is short, but sufficiently varied - and are very tasty when they arrive! Order didn't all quite turn up at once, but the atmosphere in the place meant that didn't really matter. It's a great place to chat and enjoy a good evening out. We did feel a lack of a sweet menu was actually a missed trick, and suggested to the staff the same. Would have liked to see a chocolate pizza or sweet dough balls on the menu too. But that's a very minor point. Well worth a visit! Further update - they are now serving pizza from 12 - 3 and 5 - 9 every day, and Friday through to Sunday 12 through to 9pm! The pizza is amazing, and well worth coming in for.
Part of a big table booked for a birthday on Saturday night. We had great service from the staff, a good laugh at the bar and the pizza and beers were top notch. Really going above and beyond when I didn’t realise I could add extra toppings to my pizza and one of the team brought me some to add. Ham handed indeed Will definitely go back. Nice one guys.
Been several times but had the veggie platter yesterday and it was amazing! Had the shared one in the past but had the individual one to myself this time and you still get a hell of a lot with it - the photo I've added is a short while after I'd 'started' on it, so there's a reasonable amount gone from the platter!! Great service as well!
Beer is decent but a lot of it was off when we visited. Seems still to be seated in lockdown style and so not a lot of atmosphere.
Delicious pizza from the specials menu in early August 2019. Fresh, crisp vegetables, gooey cheese, and a wonderfully rich tomato sauce. Worth a little wait on a pretty damp Friday night. Came served on what I suspect was a biodegradable plate. Spied many other dishes arriving at other tables, each one a generous size and smelled amazing. So colourful, hope they bring it back some time.
Nice place for drinks on a Friday, but little annoying the management taking pictures/footage from the corner over our table without asking
