Very poor breakfast. The whole restaurant is dirty including the chairs, carpets, tables, plates, cutlery etc. We arrived on a Sunday morning at 8:15 am and lots of food missing already from the buffet. They open at 8 am No pastries as they forgot to take them out the freezer the night before and no cereal. We asked for poached eggs and they weren’t cooked properly. This place is falling to bits and we will not be visiting again.
Only been once before so decided to see if Paulicarus thought any better of it. Has a nice atrium for food and lots of beer garden space but no real ale on our visit...a Saturday afternoon. Should be two Greene King. Unlikely to ever be back. Part of a Premier Inn complex. Very disappointing.Service: 4/5
First time I have been in a while brought my kids for tea whilst I was waiting for my mot. Service was absolutely outstanding Charlotte was my server and she was so polite and very attentive despite being rushed off her feet. Food came out super quick and was beautiful. The five pound meals were excellent value for money and I will definately be back again. Kid-friendliness: Excellent for children we was In a bay where there was a tv with children’s programmes on.
Cold food, missing half the menu, served by Kelsey and good service but quality of food was very poor. Chicken wings dry and crunchy - would not recommend. Kitchen music was boisterous and very loud, clashed with restaurant music and irritatingFood: 2/5
The staff are not wanting to be here huffing and puffing saying they’re really busy, in actual fact there’s hardly anyone in, after placing an order Im then told that there is no mushrooms, hash browns, tomatoes or black pudding so how exactly are you going to make a cooked breakfast that contains only sausage, bacon and egg. I am extremely disappointed with the service and overall experience that I have received in your establishment also refer to the image to see if it’s busy. I ended up not getting a breakfast and will go to a sandwich shop on the way home. If I could give this a 0 Star rating I would! Parking: Parking wasn’t a problem the service and overall experience was
Packet mash is dreadful as is frozen vegetables. If they weren't frozen, they were dreadful just the same. The Rectory is a beautiful restaurant, but it was let down by the breakfast bread baskets with bread crumbs, still on the table after 4 pm. To be honest, it was more like McDonald's than the first-rate restaurant of old. I suspect all Premier Inn eateries are sadly 2 or 3 stars now.
The staff were lovely very attentive and the food came out quite quickly seeing as the young man said there would be a half hour wait . Unfortunately the food was dreadful the lasagna was so dry with the edges rock hard and the salad had so much dressing on I couldn't eat it my granddaughter had nuggets and chips which was fine. The place needs a good clean the tables and menu's were so sticky and some of the chairs are so worn they need throwing out ! This is a place that I have gone to many times over the years but I very much doubt that I will be going again sadly
Just popped in for a beer was served by a young gentleman called Joe. Was very polite and was just pleasant to talk too. Experiences like that makes me want to come back.Food: 5/5
Fairly quiet for a summers day. But food quality was really good and a lovely cocktail to go with it. Kelsey really went out of her way to make my visit really enjoyable and we had a really nice conversation such a lovely lady. Will be returningFood: 5/5
Kelsey, Joe and Hannah made us feel very welcome, great friendly atmosphere and a good conversation with them all! We visited here last October and had a bad experience but after a long day we couldn't be bothered to travel elsewhere so gave it another go. It's good pub food with great customer service!Food: 3/5
