When we eat in not bad and now that the achol license gone you have to bring your own drinks makes the meals cheaper. But unfortunately having a takeaway can be a hit or miss.
I placed a delivery order via Uber Eats. It was very quick and reasonably priced. It had generous portions and included a free unexpected popadom and raita dip. The vegetable curry seemed to have a bit more sauce than vegetables, but overall, the meal was nice.
Really disappointed. 1 hour 50 minutes after ordering and still no food. I phoned at 45 minutes and was told 15mins, I phoned at 1hr 05 and was told 5 mins. I phoned at 1 hr 50 and was told "he's just leaving now". Cancelled the order.
Poor customer service. Over an hour late, no notifications. Lied on the phone, they said food had left when I called, 20minutes later I called again and he said food was just leaving. Shocking service and food was not worth the wait. Much better curry houses around. They have lost my business.
Ordered two containers of butter chicken via Uber eats last night and when it arrived there was an extremely thick layer of oil sitting on top of the chicken and gravy in both containers, this was an absolute put off and ended up being thrown out. This meal is a recipe for a heart attack. Will not be ordering from here again.
