Had a really lovely surprise party at the Prince Albert with all my friends and family I had no idea. Great quirky pub with cozy indoor and covered outdoor spaces. Wonderful Pizzas could well be the best in Stroud, Thanks to the great Landlady Lotte for helping to organise with my wife and the friendly locals who joined in. Looking forward for coming again to try the burgers, live music and good selection of drinks!
Awesome, friendly, local pub which accommodates dogs and children! Pizzas and burgers are amazing - it’s great to be able to eat out as a vegan and get a decent pizza and burger. Even the kids preferred the vegan pizza! I didn’t try the beers but I noticed that there was a good selection. Well worth a visit.

Warm, friendly and welcoming. Nice selection of standard and local drinks. And of course their range of freshly baked pizzas - try the 'nice and spicy' - it might just blow your socks off.... Pop along take your dog if you like and enjoy yourself... Recommended for sure
Amazing local pub. Friendly bartenders as well as patrons. We were in town during their annual Beer Fest and it provided a wide variety of real ales, ciders, and perries to go along with an eclectic bunch of live bands and a couple of local food vendors.
We had a wonderful evening of tasty pizza and delicious beer and wine in the new garden at the Albert. They've done a fantastic job of it over lockdown, and lovely to see the pub open again with its characteristic wit and friendliness by the bucket load.
Friendly, warm, welcoming, wonderful staff, fabulous live music, tasty pizzas, funky outdoor space, games available to play, friendly dogs to pat, what's not to love. My favourite pub by a mile xxx
The Prince Albert is a propper pub. Lively, friendly and eclectic with a good selection of beers. The Menu is uncomplicated, mainly pizza and burgers but the food is lovely, definitely the right way around.
Make sure you eat before!! Don't ear here. The pizza was aweful and way overpriced! They use a pre cooked base and then it comes out sloppy. I think they can do better judging on how well they perform in other areas.
Great lovely open fire and good old pub atmosphere so lacking in many pubs these days.
