This staff at the till looked very young probably just turned 16 and for this reason I gave her a two stars. If she looked more mature I’d have given her just one. Reason: she wasn’t at all helpful at the desk. Basically she just took off hangers from the clothes I bought and left them all on the desk, no sorting, no folding up. I had to do it myself with her standing there watching. Those were shirts, trousers, jackets … she didn’t thank me, basic CS etiquette? I didn’t thank her either as she didn’t help make the whole process easier or quicker! I wonder if Primark gives young part-timers/ student workers training in customer services??? This particular staff member definitely needs that!
Reasonable prices, usually busy but a great place to shop in . Queues are long but expected on the weekends but generally shorter in the week day . Lots of bargains and value for money. There’s something for everyone, children, men, women and home . There are messier parts of the store, but that’s down to customers and not the staff. This branch has a beauty brow store on the forum. Floor at the rear towards the Oracle entrance. I like the use of the advertisement models, which are inclusive of various backgrounds.
Absolutely shocked at the situation I had to deal with yesterday…. I came into Primark to grab a few little things for my holiday in a few days and when I first come in I didn’t think I would be getting much so I didn’t grab a branded Primark basket, also there isn’t any signs stating that this is apparently very important! Because I was later approached by an older lady at the counter that quite literally gave me a telling off for not having a basket and insinuated that I was basically stealing…. I was pretty taken aback by this lecture as I’ve never had this type of situation before, this lady’s name was Jenny and it honestly got to the point where I had to ask for her manager because she made me feel very uncomfortable, to which Jenny was speaking over her manager and smirking like a teenager behind her, again very shocked that one this behaviour came from an older lady and two from a staff member over something very minor and if she did feel it was important she desperately needs some training before she handles the public to learn how to approach people, I never usually complain but this behaviour was just bewildering to me.
Extremely over crowded not enough aisle space. Clothing on the floor and very untidy displays. Absolutely huge queue....only two tills open. The Manager Steve seemed to not care about this as he just carried on looking at paperwork instead of opening a few more tills. Then walked away. The waiting for service was about 15 minutes. Terrible. No apology when we finally got to the till. Very disappointing and unprofessional by the Manager. Will not be going back in that shop.
This was a massive store to go shopping at, harboring three floors that are well connected via both escalators and lifts! The products are laid out properly in different areas including raincoats, where I got a green one from. The coat is strong and staff were friendly, although only one till was open which is bad in holidays.
