My daughters hair was in need of some TLC and a really good cut. Wilma at Pride took time and care in cutting,conditioning and finishing her hair and she was made up with the end result. Highly Recommend

I absolutely loved my experience at this hair and beauty salon! The service was impeccable, and the staff was incredibly talented and friendly. My stylist understood exactly what I wanted and delivered beyond my expectations. I left feeling amazing and beautiful and with the most gorgeous hairstyle. I highly recommend this salon for a five-star experience! My whole family loved Pride and the team.

Was reluctant to leave a review based on it being a black owed business and a number of my family members have had their hair done here in the past.  I just wanted my hair done quickly before heading back to London. I was quite disappointed with the overall experience. Got the feeling I couldn’t ask questions without being patronised, very sad.  Not welcoming at all… Seems to me they are happy with their regular clients and care very little about new ones. When I went back to the person that suggested I should visit the salon they didn’t seem surprised by my findings. Also, very pricey for a high street salon in Bristol quoting London prices at Bristol quality.   it’s no Junior Green  I definitely won’t be returning but guess the owner already knows this but isn’t too bothered from what I’ve picked up.  She’s also not very friendly and for £121 on a treatment and basic cornrows no extensions which weren’t evenly distributed, I got like 5 on one side and 3 on the other. They also push hard for you to press your hair as styling option, God help you if you ask for anything else or an alternative service if possible. For people like me that don’t like heat on their natural hair it isn’t good.  Also, they just assume for whatever reason you don’t comb your hair if you are a simple person with a simple natural hair style and that you’ve had it in braids. Had a back and forth with one of the staff members because I’ve never been asked this question in any type of hair salon before be it  high end or low end. She kept asking me if I had my hair in braids and I couldn’t understand what that had to do with my hair being done. I hadn’t had my hair in braids in over 2 months and I only leave braid in for 3 weeks. I like my hair pulled up in a bun I had to answer the question 3 times.  I would have given it 1 star if it wasn’t for me knowing my late grandmother use to come here. Don’t bother wasting time and money here, honestly. I believe you should get what you pay for and a good service experience is basic no matter the age of the customer. Pride is outstanding. Wilma and her team really care and that makes such a difference. I feel so looked after when I visit and I always come out looking amazing. Zaineb is exceptional at what she does and is like a ray of sunshine with the joy she brings to her work. And the cherry on the cake is that Wilma’s brilliant at cutting and layering hair which makes it easy to style in between visits. Fabulous. A Georgian lady took wonderful care of my hair. She trimmed it, washed it and twisted it perfectly. It was also a great price and brilliant value. You're paying for expertise.

My 9yr old had a complete re style here and Wilma was amazing! My daughter wanted her hair a certain short style and she did it perfectly... My daughter and I are so happy... She also gave me great advise on what products to use and even dropped them to my house for me... Great hairdresser, great professional friendly atmosphere, we will be returning.... Highly recommend...

I completely enjoy going to Pride Hair each time. Mrs Wima, daughter and the who team are so kind, friendly, helpful and supportive. The atmosphere is always happy, warm & friendly. I always feel apart of Wilma & the team. Each time I have been I always learn something new and I am always well taken care of. I always leave with a smile & I am always excited to be there. I’ve had an AMAZING hair makeover from Pride hair and Beauty! Wilma , Managing Director Is at the top of her game. She’s seen other businesses come and go. I’ve known her for 30 years!! Have just returned as a customer. Her passion for hairdressing is still blazing and is a joy She takes great care to consult honestly and imaginatively. This I love. Day 1 and I’m already getting admiring glances Motto - you get what you pay for  the best!!

Absolutely amazing service!! I will never go anywhere else now. All the staff were incredibly friendly, pleasant and the prices are very reasonable. they gave me a cup of tea and really took the time to listen to me. I felt totally looked after, and in the best hands. The lady who cut my hair is a magician with the scissors and honestly knows how to cut curly hair. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish and they have gained a life-long customer in me. I will be telling everyone I know how amazing they are!! Thank you so much, my hair will now look beautiful for my wedding!
