The Five stars are due to our receptionist Melissa, who was polite, listened to our needs and gave advice as needed. She seemed to be there all the day and night! Nothing was too much trouble for us in room 114. Thank you Melissa. Breakfast on the Saturday was the only let down, as the Hashbrowns were so overcooked there was no potato inside!, however all the restaurant staff were very friendly and helpful and so quick to serve despotes the restaurant being busy each day. Houskeeping did a good job changing our room bedding anfd towels when asked and even waited whilst we delayed them cleaning the room. All in all we will be coming back! xx
Well up to Premier Inns' usual standards. Doesn't have usb sockets at the bed as the latest upgrades have but everything else as you would expect. The only downside was that the fried eggs were rather "rubbery" and the bacon could be chopped up into a "packet of crisps" without too much difficulty. Location handy for Ellesmere Port, Cheshire Oaks and anywhere on the A41 between Chester and Birkenhead. Good bus services right on the doorstep so own transport not essential.
Nice comfy bed as usual with any Premier Inn. Only problem was whoever was above us the the hotel getting in at 11:30pm banging about like a bunch of elephants apart from that it was a good stay.Rooms: 4/5
Had a fantastic breakfast, great value for money! Our first visit to a Brewer’s Fayre . We will certainly go back when visiting family. Now looking for one closer to home.
Love staying in childer thornton, however, the brewers fayre could do with getting some better waitresses as we waited an hour to eat and only wanted gougons and chips and then said waitress dropped moat of it on floor Rooms: 4/5
Came as a family group, All the staff were amazing. Lovely clean bright hotel. Food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Nothing was too much trouble for ANY of the staff and they went above and beyond to make our stay a pleasant one. The bed was super comfy. A massive thankyou for looking after us all. We will absolutely be coming to stay again.
There was no towels, front desk was not available. Tried to book for evening meal, they said they were full and couldn't offer any suggestion or help for places to eat except the vending machineRooms: 2/5
Bed was so comfy. Room was very clean. Excellent shower. Breakfast was well organised and delicious!!!! Very accommodating of my gluten free diet. Melissa on reception was so kind and so helpful. She couldn’t do enough for us Rooms: 5/5
It's a premier Inn so you know what you are getting. The rooms are comfy and clean. You get a bath and shower over head, tea and coffee facilities in your room and a flatscreen TV on the wall. Also a nice touch is the USB plug in to connect to the TV. Also FREE WiFi which is great. There is an upgraded version to pay for but we managed fine on free version for things like Netflix and YouTube. This hotel is an ideal location for visiting Chester Zoo and Blue Planet Aquarium. Both are like a 10-15 minute drive away. We are a party of 5 so asked for 2 rooms with interconnecting doors which was available and Mellissa on reception was happy to arrange for us when we booked. The only real downside, and it's something you get at a lot of hotels is you hear people walking about and banging above you. At times the ceiling feels paper thin as you know people are just walking but it can be very loud, and can wake you up if someone above gets up to use the toilet late. We also had a noisy ventilation fan that would have disrupted our sleep but managed to switch it off by lifting a ceiling panel. The staff were great and really helpful when sorting our interconnecting rooms and polite and friendly on check in.
Standard premier inn room, windows can be opened so its a bonus, as it needed a bit of a airing. All the standard stuff you'd expect from premier inn, hairdryer, TV, kettle etc. Not too far from Cheshire Oaks.Rooms: 4/5
