By far the best Premier Inn experience I have had in a very long time. The room was very clean, there was barely any noise, and I slept like a log.nnThe staff were extremely friendly and really added to the whole experience.nnThank you for such a good stay! :
Greeted by very kind and friendly receptionist on afternoon of 28th Aug after a long drive. Very nice staff, air con worked well. Room a little bit tired and dusty around the skirting boards but generally pleasant. Slight annoyance of adjacent rooms where other guests let their kids run marathon laps of their rooms until about 11pm which sounds like someone hammering you on the back of your head when you are tired and trying to sleep but not the hotels fault.
Chose here because it was cheaper than others in the area. It was warn when we stayed. Advertised as having A/C but the temp lowest us set to 19 which was not cool enough for us because the fans barely pushed any cool air out and we were in what appeared to be a newer section of the hotel and the windows did not open. We did ask for a desk top fan which we got and it helped we also were offered a room change but we had already settled in the room. If we stay here again will ask for a room where the windows open
The hotel's location is ideal, being very handy for Telford and Newport and near to several supermarkets.nWayne on reception was extremely friendly and helpful, despite some computer issues whilst checking guests in.nThe bed was the normal standard and I had a good night's sleep despite some road noise.nUnfortunately it does seem to be in need of some refurbishment as the furniture in the room was a little tired, the TV was very small and the shower pressure was only just adequate.
I am writing this on behalf of my Grandfather, as he’s not so great with technology. My Grandparents stayed here for a visit to see myself and my family that came over from abroad. From what they said they had a pleasant stay, until my Grandpa had an accident involving the hotel’s electronic door. His arm got stuck and he had to go to A&E due to the injuries, the hotel offered no first aid at all, taken no responsibility and didn’t even record the event anywhere. My Grandpa is therefore unable to receive compensation, and is unable to resolve the issue so this doesn’t happen to any other visitors. Myself and my family are absolutely appalled by their lack of care, and customer service, and the poor way they have treated my Grandfather, both during and after this incident. Please bear this in mind when booking your stay.
