Premier Inn have worked out what to deliver. Clean, well laid out, spacious rooms. Extremely comfortable beds. This branch had very friendly, helpful staff. Fantastic breakfast, including a free game of "How many mini pastries can you stuff in your pockets for later in the day". Good location (if you need it for access to stuff in and around Harrogate, less good for Glasgow...), very quiet, and pretty good value. Would definitely stay here again. Yes, it may lack the unique weirdness of some privately run hotels, but it depends how much you want the chance of an odd, creepy landlord, an unpredictable breakfast, and mystery noises going off through the night. If you want none of those things, then stay here.

This is the usual Premier Inns hotel of a slightly older design. Comfortable beds and good sized room. What makes this place special are the staff. All of the staff are charming, helpful and they all seem to really enjoy working here and helping the customers. This is our second visit in a year and we will have no hesitation in returning in the future.

Excellent service from the really friendly and efficient staff - especially Leona on reception. Room was very comfortable and the meals were wonderful.

Excellent place to stay good clean rooms . Train station at rear provides excellent transport to Harrogate and further afield like York or Liverpool

Nice premier inn with attached restaurant and free parking with amenities close by. Friendly staff. Clean and tidy. Train station to rear. Gym close by and nice surroundings.
