Well after making a mistake over Accommodation in nearby Linton, we managed to get a room at The Wharfe B & B. We waiting only a very short time while room was made ready. On arrival we met Pauline who made us feel very welcome & showed us to our room. The room was lovely. We had a good nights sleep. The following morning we had a lovely Full English Breakfast, with a lovely pot of coffee. So I would highly recommend The Wharfe B & B. We will certainly be coming again & will recommend it friends, thank you Pauline. Roy & Sally Barber
Great B&B in the town of wetherby. Very clean and comfortable, enjoyed the stay. Can't comment on breakfast as owner was self isolating. Location is great for visiting surrounding areas. Recommend a stay.Rooms: 5/5
Being racing fanatics and frequent visitors to the Wetherby races, as a couple with a young child we were very excited to hear that the tour de France was going to be in Yorkshire. Possibly a once in a lifetime opportunity. Over the years we’ve tried numerous hotels and B & B’s in Yorkshire. We stumbled across what will now become our own little Idaho for future events. Wharfe house is a charming cottage, which is situated a minutes’ walk from town and a ten minute walk from Wetherby race track. All the local amenities are within walking distance as well as transport services to Harrogate and Leeds. Perfect! The accommodation itself is spotless and full of original features. Our bedroom was very spacious with a flat screen TV which didn’t get used a lot due to our itinerary and tea and coffee making facilities. The owners were very flexible and allowed us to take on an additional room as one of our friends had been declined their original accommodation due to a double booking. The breakfast was excellent. The food was mostly sourced from a local butcher we’re not sure this is always the case we’ll ask on our next visit and the eggs from chickens in the back garden! We really enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of Pauline and Chris. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re in Wetherby, or even if you just want a weekend away in a scenic part of Yorkshire this is the ideal place for comfort and old fashioned style.
Beautiful B & B. Stunning bedroom & en-suite full of character and spotlessly clean. A very warm welcome on arrival and a perfectly cooked breakfast for a post wedding recovery! Thank you we had a great stay. Ross & Jess
Beautiful Bed and Breakfast. Sadly our visit only allowed for one night stay and wish it could have been longer. Everything and more you could wish for. Thank you Pauline for making our stay so comfy. My crutches and I thank you and hope to stay with you again soon xx
Unfortunately was very disappointed, for all we booked late was very disappointed with the cleanlines. Still eating breakfast whilst asking how we were paying cash or card and given 15 minutes before the card machine was brought out at the table still finishing my tea? No kettle in room pod machine not only confusing to us but another couple in the b&b overall not another stay lovely breakfast hence the 2 stars
Old world elegance with modern amenities. Convenient to shops, restaurants, beautiful countryside and seaside day trips, Harrogate, Whitby, York, Yorkshire Dales, Wensleydale Creamery Cheesemaking tour and much more. Pauline is an excellent hostess. Hope to return one day.
The proprietor is very friendly and helpful, very pleasant. My parents have stayed here and liked it, very comfortable and friendly, highly recommended. Much nicer than the other accommodation options in Wetherby!
