I stayed here for an extended period just before Christmas while working in Wetherby. Have to say my stay couldn't have been better. David and Anne made me feel very welcome in their truly beautiful house. The en-suite room was well equipped (good shower). The breakfast on offer was varied and excellent. I'd highly recommend this place to couples looking to treat themselves, both Boston Spa and Wetherby have good restaurants and the understated grandeur of the house makes it difficult to say b & b without thinking that you're doing the place a massive disservice. Anyone looking for a relaxing break would benefit from a stay here too. I looked forward to returning here after a days work as the house has a very calming influence (think ticking grandfather clock and occasional church bells and you get the idea). David and Anne have struck a perfect balance here with both their friendly non-intrusive hosting style and the wonderful surroundings. Can't wait to stay here again.
