Overall the hotel is good. The cleanliness of the room is adequate. The hotel employees are mostly nice and helpful. The equipment of the room is adequate, but more chairs would be useful. The breakfast is very delicious, meets all needs! Unfortunately, we did not find the restaurant open during the rest of the day, so it is difficult to write an opinion.Fortunately, there are restaurants within walking distance, so we won't go hungry. The location of the hotel is suitable, the sea front is a 3-minute walk away, and a Lidl is a 2-minute walk away.
Great beds and handy location. The staff were helpful and friendly and the breakfast was great! Good parking, there is a charge-but only a small one. So well done them!
Away for the night with work. We had a very friendly welcome from Bob and Hayley the moment we arrived.nHayley recommended we book a table for dinner as they were busy the evening we arrived. The food and service were fantastic. We stayed for a few drinks afterwards. Would 100% recommend a stay here if you are stopping overnight in Felixstowe.
Short break holiday, arrived to big surprise of £7-50 for disabled parking. Every day of stay. Hotel needs a little more TLC, stains on furniture and floors. Rooms need extra chair. Very noisy air handling system in the middle of the night kept us awake. Sounded like a jet engine and then annoying hum. Dining area staff of Bob front of house and Holly the chef made the very best of a situation not of their making,nNamely non delivery of food to match the menu. They were both upbeat, happy and very considerate. Great members of staff who handled the situation extremely well.
The hotel is in a good position for exploring Felixstowe. Room was clean & had everything we needed, bed very comfortable. We had a first floor room which was surprisingly quiet. We ate evening meal & breakfast - both fine, staff helpful & very pleasant. Would happily stay here again.
