A beautiful beach to come and see whatever the weather it really does take you back and appreciate the beauty here with nice places to see and eat at. I would really recommend coming here and let go of life's stresses.
We had a nice walk along the beach on a very sunny cold afternoon. It's not sandy but pebbly. Quite pretty. There's a pier with an arcade and a restaurant. There's a gym/sports centre. Across the road there are restaurants and hotels. There's a lovely ice cream shop which is well worth a visit. There is more to do in the Summer
Nice mixed sand and pebble beach, with free all day parking on the prom if you are lucky and a proper high street up a short sharp hill. Clean and tidy with quite a selection of bars and cafés.
Not typically a beach destination you would automatically think of but still a fine place to visit. The beach is mainly stones, but it does have sand and is clean. Parking on the street is free and there are enough shops and shops, amusements and food places to keep you going. Plus, the town centre is pretty close by too. Not a bad place to visit at all.
Lovely beach on a sunny day. Mixture of sand and shingle. Head up through the corporation gardens to the high street for cafes and coffee bars far from the madding crowd.
Not THE most scenic beach, but it's the closest one we've got to visit during summer, and impress people who visit us! Plenty of food and snack options, lots of parking if not you can park near the residential areas but it will be an extra 10 mins walk to the beach.
Such a lovely beach. Plenty of spaces. Great for everyone
Great little seaside town. Nice prom to walm along. Nice pier. Friendly pub. The Felsto Arms. Ships passing most of the day.
I visited Felixstowe Beach for the first time a couple of days ago, and really had such a great day out! The walk across the seafront was very pleasant and absolutely loved taking some time to admire the plants at the seafront gardens. The different colours of the beach huts were very appealing! I was pleased to see how very well maintained the beach was, with good facilities and was happy to buy 3 postcards for £1.50 at the souvenir kiosk. It was also good to discover some of the heritage that remains in Felixstowe, such as the Languard Fort.
Great place with great amusements and shops on the beach front, one of the best fish and chips shops is towards the end of the beach with the pool to your back and the milkshake place near the pool does some awesome drinks and ice cream
