This hotel is so out date looks more like a care Home than a hotel, bed was reasonably comfortable, could seriously do with up dating the bedrooms and bathrooms, upgrade to the executive suit for a sea view would have hate to see what the original room I was staying looked like if the one I had was anything to go by and on the last night staying in this hotel some random person walked into the room and mine and my other half’s phone was on charge and his wallet was in his Jean pocket so he could have knicked anything if my other half wasn’t already awake. Will Never ever stay there again....I wouldn’t even let my dog stay there to be perfectly honest....and I wouldn’t even give it a 1 star either would give this a -0.1 star rating

we booked for two nights 9th and 10th December 17 but only stayed one. we were on the top floor where the winows have been taped up with brown packing tape. There was no heating in the room and was advised that they had trouble for the past six weeks getting water through the heating system on our floor but discovered this also applied th the second floor. we were given an electric which keep tripping the trip switch so they had to take that away and give us a smaller one which did nothing. With the cold weather and snow on the ground it was actually warmer outside. The bedroom window was so drafty that you could actually see the curtain move freely into the room when the window was closed. We were told where further duvets were but was told to help ourselves on the way up. I had boots on with a thick 4inch wide heel on and after sitting on the edge of the bed i got up and immedietly tripped where i caught my boot in a ruipped duvet cover. falling onto my knees and the dressing table edge went into my shoulder leaving me very bruised. The emergency break glass in our room was covered over with paper and there was no alarm behind it. Had there of been a fire we would not have been able to get out being on that top floor. It is of our opinion that the top floor should be condemmed. We have stayed many times before over the years but would not return. We were advised that we could be moved to another room but it would not be until today as the hotel was full but we had lost the will and decided that we would rather be at home. We were given a refrund for tonight with no arguments.

Shocking hotel!!! I could live with the fact it’s badly in need of updating but it’s probably the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in with drunk guests stomping around the corridors all night long talking and even shouting at the tops of their voices. Do not stay at this hotel if you have any hopes of getting a good night’s sleep!!!!!

Nice location at sea front , town center is about 0.5 miles away only, friendly staff. Food is alright or you could dig in nearby restaurants.
