Well located very close to the Forth road bridge and much cheaper than staying in Edinburgh itself which is very expensive these days.nRoom was fine but warm for me and bed a bit firm but that's personal choice. There was an odd odour from the bathroom when I first arrived which was odd because it was spotlessly clean.nReception and restaurant staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was really well cooked. Definitely stay again
Fantastic hotel. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. Brewers fare food was really nice. I got the mixed grill and it was delicious. Plenty of parking space and lots of amenities near by ie mc Donald's burger King and a Tesco superstore all within 5 mins walking distance.
Very nice and a warm welcome and lovely service. Happy to help if I needed it. Rooms were nice and comfortable beds. My purple light on the top bed did not work and my bed plug didn't work. Could do with more plug sockets beside the bed, all at the TV table. It was good there was a fan in the room because it was hot. Nice bathroom could do with a handrail getting in and out, it's a deep bath and my uncle struggled to get in the shower stepping in and out of the shower, but it was nice. The only thing I hated was the remote control TV box was so dirty it was like it had never been cleaned. Luckily I had Dettol wet wipes and used that and made it cleaner before and after I cleaned it. But i will be back
Could not open windows due to being directly next to an air con unit and when we asked staff they said we was put there because we were only staying the one night. The room was covered in dust along all the surfaces and we wrote clean me in it. There is not enough car parking spots for residents and we was told to park in an electric bay by staff even though there was signs up saying you would occur a fine. The room was over warm due to being over the kitchens and we couldn't cool it down by opening a window. There was a vast empty space where there is usually a sofa or chair but there was nothing so there was nowhere to sit other than on the bed. Would not stay here again for the money
Stayed for 2 nights so the rooms are clean and the staff were friendly and helpful so they are the positives however.nLocation was a bit of a pain seemed to be in the middle of nowhere close to queensnFerry town but be honest the bridges were only the good things if you like that sort of thing it's 25 to 30 mins from edinburgh and it's next door to a macdonalds. It does have a very small car park personally didn't have any problems parking but can see what problems can happen as small area.nThe room was clean however we were above the brewers fayre extraction system so heard a hum all afternoon and all night the room was hot so kept opening and shutting window as no fan in the room and we kept getting food smells the views were not good . But for a over night business stay it would be ok
