Typical Premier Inn, clean rooms, good temperature control, pleasant and helpful staff too. Situated amongst everything you could need, lots of eating establishments, from fast food to proper restaurants. Brewers Fayer under the Inn, breakfast was very good but night time service was very slow.

May 2018: Back again. Still no complaints - only kudos. We met the lovely, bubbly June again who always makes our stay that little bit warmer and friendlier. Thank you, June. December 2017: Here we are again. H and I are of an age that we're quite fussy about where we stay. This Premier Inn ticks all the boxes so we keep coming back. The staff are lovely and the rooms kept to a high standard. We'll be back. May 2017: We returned to this Premiere Inn and, once again, it didn't disappoint. We stayed from the 9th for 3 nights (£196) in room 312 (a great view of the car park). This time around we had no trouble parking and the sun was shining. We were greeted by June and her colleague who were really friendly and helpful. The facilities were everything we remembered and everything we needed. If I could have got the shower in my suitcase I'd have been off with it :). Another excellent stay. November 2016: This hotel ticks all the boxes - except one. It's clean, it has all the expected facilities, everything works as it should, and the staff are lovely. There is a great choice of eateries around it and a large Tesco store just across the way. The only problem I found is that parking close to the hotel - I had a large case and it was pouring with rain - is a nightmare.

New, clean and comfortable but on a large retail park and breakfast was poor. This is one of the biggest Premier inns we've stayed in. It's located close to the A1 on a retail park close to a police station and Tesco. Parking is the retail park car park so very busy. It's definitely not a small quiet hotel. The room was clean and comfortable, very much the standard you'd expect. However for some reason we only had one set of towels. The windows don't open so there is an air conditioning system which was ok but wouldn't go below 19C. Not ideal if you want some fresh air. Breakfast was poor, we went down during the quiet period suggested on the poster on the lift. However they hadn't even got the hot food out yet. When it arrives the fried eggs were not properly cooked and were runny or slimy. The rest of it just wasn't hot at all. It's the worst Premier inn breakfast I've had for a long time. Overall it was okay but too big for us and breakfast was below standard.

Staff a bit gruff but otherwise helpful. Nice location with some good shops around it and other places to eat if you don't fancy the attached Brewer's Fayre
