5*. Staying here for 2 nights when visiting friends I Can’t complain. Staff were happy and friendly to help. From start to finish the hotel was clean & welcoming. I had a keycard problem, but was resolved in seconds. will stay again. - room was nice, and clean. showers hot. The Hotel Was nice and quiet at night.
Checking in was slow the room was nice and clean , Not happy paying £3 to park my car the last time I was there it was free we ordered the breakfast next door in the brewers fayre that was ok but the sausages were mush,cheap black pudding, I would rather pay more for better ingredients.
3 night stay for works and all very good.nEmma on reception very helpful and friendly. Plenty around if you need anything and parking no problem, although you have to pay at this one.
Enjoyed our stay herenFirst night very quiet and had a good rest. The second night an elephant was above us and I think was on a sponsored walk. Just walking forward and backwards for about 30 mins I was going to go up and my partner said leave it till 8.30pm two minutes later it stopped must of got tired with all that walking
The hotel is a standard Premier Inn - so always reasonable. The only downside is that the attached restaurant is Brewars Fayre and this one was simply awful. The upside is you are a 10 minute walk to the town centre with a Wetherspoons and some quite good restaurants.
