Extremely friendly staff, who are more than happy to help and find a room, either in the hotel or at the serviced apartments on Abbey road. I have stayed at both and they offer excellent WiFi, sky TV (in the apartments) and very comfy beds. The staff provide take away lunches if you are going to be hiking or at work during the day and recommend local places to eat or comedy shows or other entertainment in the evenings. I have enjoyed spending many weeks here.

Really nice referb. Food nice but not as good as it used to be. Menu hasn't changed for years. That needs up dating too. A Steak would of been nice

No heating at all in the bathroom (very cold!), very small room, squeaky floorboards and you can hear people in the corridor and adjacent rooms. There is a TV in the room, but I didn't want to use it as other guests would have heard it, so it would have disturbed them. The WiFi has been poorly set up and kept cutting out. The food at the pub is inexpensive, but the low price is reflected in the quality. On the plus side, the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and they provide you with a takeaway breakfast if you choose to have one instead of a dine-in breakfast.

I ate here, food was bland but the staff were fantastic it is however a great menu choice

Nice place. It's been recently updated and repainted. I also hear nice things about the hotel element.
