Welcome to Shilam, where authentic dishes from southern Indian subcontinent are served by friendly staff in a sophisticated dining environment.

Story

First opened in Mid Wales in 1979, the Shilam has developed into a highly successful business with an excellent reputation for the finest indian cuisine. In 2003 the shilam expanded to Aberystwyth, thus, offering this special dining experience from the Montgomeryshire hills to the Ceredigion coast.

One star is too kind I think for this low level cooking and servicing. Food doesn't come with any side and restaurant charge delivery fees even over a 10£ order. Never answer the phone, hang off the phone on customers like they have no business to deal with us. Food gave me diarrhoea and stomach pain. Disgraceful. Nothing more to say to express my anger and disappointment at least for my money which is long gone and can't be refunded.

The staff was brilliant! Very nice, kind and helpful. They gave free water with lemons which was great for the spicyness. The food was also good, both of us had chicken dishes that we liked a lot! The only thing we missed were some more vegetables and a typical Indian desert

Terrible food ,everything was bad do not use ,or waist your money. Wouldn't give you 1 star but had to ,to leave review
