I don’t usually leave reviews but I just had to this time. Natalie is the most beautiful soul and an amazing nail technician! We had a great chat and she was the kindest person and explained everything to me since it was my first time getting gel extensions. She also gave me nice hand massage and just took care of my dry hands. As an introvert I don’t usually talk in these kind of situations but it was so easy and I honestly had the best time. Also more importantly my nails look SO GOOD! I keep looking at them and admire them every 5 minute. Thank you so so much for your lovely service! You went above and beyond and I really appreciate it xxx

I can't say enough good things about this salon. I found them doing a Google review and was impressed by their rating. I quickly booked online and received an email reminder. I arrived at their great location and was greeted by Haley. She quickly offered me a tea and got me signed in. The shop is decorated very stylish and had some lovely touches. I was booked in for nails and eyebrows waxing. Haley did my nails first. She is very talented and has a great personality. While I was getting pampered the salon owner, Natalie popped in and started chatting with us as well. These ladies know how to make a girl feel pampered. I am more than impressed. Top notch service!

These girls are my go to for everything. They are so lovely and always make me feel so welcome and comfortable. I always get my nails done here and would never go anywhere else. Natalie is super talented and has my nails looking amazing every single time.  Side note: they also make a great Latte! :

I had a full body Swedish massage with Natalie and the treatment was perfect from start to finish. The salon is always sparkling clean, is in a great location and you can really tell how much thought and care goes into ensuring each treatment is done to a very high standard. Having been to a different salons across the country over the years, Preened and Polished is a total gem and every treatment I’ve had there has been second-to-none. I always leave with a bounce in my step and I’m so grateful to Natalie and Lynsey for their hard work and the effort they put into giving you a 5 star service. I can’t recommend them enough!  They also stock some Eve Taylor products so I picked up a gorgeous smelling candle - my bedroom now smells like the Preened and Polished treatment room and I’m so chuffed about it!

I was completely blown away by the quality of service at this absolute gem of a place. I had GelX nail extensions done by Lynsey and the quality of service throughout my appointment was uncontested compared to other salons I've been to. Lynsey was extremely precise, skilled, and her attention to details made me feel like my nails were truly taken care of. She talked me through everything that was happening and took her time with it what made me feel calm and relaxed. She was very attentive to what I wanted to get done and offered fantastic advice on nail polish. Additionally, it is amazing that the salon offers the GelX nail extensions as they are a better alternative to the acrylic nails but I struggled to find anywhere in Manchester city centre that would offer them.  As for the nails. they are still on and it's my fourth week of having them. I've experienced no problems with them, they were a pleasure to wear and  also received tons of compliments. I  will be definitely coming back for more treatments and I strongly recommend you give this place a try too :

Came to Nat on moving to Manchester and chose here after seeing the reviews and wanting to make sure I got a good new salon. Hands down best salon I have ever been to and would not dream of going anywhere else EVER! Nails are the best standard and quality and there’s nothing she can’t do-super creative!!!! My own nails are also loads healthier, even though I’d never go without acrylics! Really pretty salon in a fab location also!

I could not recommend this salon enough, if I could I'd give Natalie her own 5 stars.  The service you receive here is next level, you are welcomed and relaxed from the minute you walk in the door.  I absolutely love every appointment! As for Natalie's massages - well, there are no words!! She has sorted out my back more times than I can count, very very good at what she does and her salon is such a wonderful place to be.

Warm and comfy environment, friendly staff, 5 star treatment!  I work in Manchester and I am often looking at new business' opening up in the area. I was passed on info about Preened and Polished by a friend and thought I should take a look.  When I arrived the therapist was very friendly and offered me the beverage menu whilst I filled in the consultation form. I had an excellent cup of coffee, which was free of charge!  I suffer badly with dry skin and I opted for a prescriptive facial. The therapist had a great deal of knowledge and advised on the best course of action. The treatment was first class in a warm and inviting environment. My skin has never felt better and she also advised on the best way forward which nobody had before.  I would recommend to anybody looking to get a health or beauty treatment in the City Centre and I will be back for sure!

There is nowhere else that does nails this good! No matter the state of my nails going in, they always look amazing by the time I leave. Nat is a total perfectionist - I get so many compliments! To top it off it’s one of the friendliest and most lovely salons I’ve been to.

Feel I need to leave a review for the Gel Nail Extensions I had. As a new product and procedure I was very sceptical but I can honestly say they are the best false nails I’ve ever had. They look and feel just like acrylic only much lighter in weight which makes them feel more natural. I have an extremely hands on job and they have lasted weeks. Lost my first one today but didn’t even feel it come off and my natural nail is like new underneath. I haven’t always been a massive fan of acrylic nails because of how much they hurt and ruin your natural nails, but I would definitely recommend these to anyone, especially if you only want them for a one off special occasion! Been going to P&P for many years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. Nat and Lynsey are super friendly and treat every client with special care and attention you don’t seem to get elsewhere.
