First visit. We arrived just after 13:00 and waited around 20mins for a table - I'm genuinely happy to wait for food at a place like this as they're clearly doing what they're doing, well! We were shown to our table one of our group had some serious allergy issues with the flowers inside so we asked to be seated outside and they were very accomodating - plus points and our coffee order was taken. But, 15 mins later and 2 other staff members asking us if we have ordered coffee after, and our coffee still hadn't arrived... I appreciate it's busy, but the staff could make life easier on themselves by just communicating more with eachother, to stop confusion and keep everything moving along nicely. The food: The Hog - solid. I asked to sub my mushroom for extra black pudding huge lover and they were very accomodating plus points. The coffee: I had espresso - regular espresso drinker. I feel like it was perhaps a rushed order due to us being asked by 3 different members of staff. When it came it was good, but not great. I'd earmarked this place specifically because the collaborate with Caravan down in London. But it was entirely different to my Caravan experience before, and I was left a little disappointed... I'll go back if I'm in the area as the food is good. But, maybe I will choose a different time of the day to catch it less busy...
The food is incredible here. The best thing they have is bacon which they take pride in. The priced pork has the right amount of salty, crispy and thickness. Shakshuka had lots rich tomato flavor. The toast was pleasantly toasted and buttered. Service was great. Our waitress gave useful recommendations on what to do on the island through the eyes of a local. I would highly recommend this place.
Bit of a strange experience, the service was odd and a bit sporadic and they had no record of our booking. The food however, was delicious as were the cocktails. The coffee less so, it had a watery and oily consistency despite an initially pleasing appearance we had two different types of coffee and both had this issue
Delicious food, hideous coffee. Ordered French toast with berry compete it was delicious! How ever I was so turned off my Mocha actually couldn't drink it. Extremely bitter and only room temperature when served it tasted like unsweetened cooking chocolate added to cold milk without coffee Disappointing since I used to frequent the place when it first opened in 2017 and the coffee Mocha in particular was absolutely delicious back then
Relaxed, welcoming place. Cosy and quirky interior. Delicious lunch menu we were just a little too late to sample brunch! But we have an extra excuse to go back with special mention going to the Classic Toastie celeriac purée... who knew?!? The people who work here have a lovely easy chatty manner about them. Dog friendly place and Dexter gives it 5 paws
Amazing place with fantastic food and amazing staff. Fresh flavored tap water served in a lovely bottle and plates looking like works of art!
What a gorgeous little cafe! The hollandaise sauce should be bottled it is divine! Drag Brunch is so much fun . Highly recommended with such amazing staff!
The food I ordered might be just ‘the usual’ but kinda looked over other tables and I got envy of them. Their presentation is fantastic for it’s proce so I’m definitely going back to get the taste! The place is just relaxed and the staff are friendly.
10 STARS - This new cozy trendy place is absolutely top notch - and is soooooo phenomenal, and the food is so deliciously AMAZING that, I had 2 mouthwatering breakfasts - 100/100 - OUTSTANDING!! the COFFEE erm... I had 4
Lovely spot for coffee and a bite to eat, clean, professional, very conscientious staff. Food and drinks are well priced.
