The bread is what you come for because oh my! This is one of the best breads I have ever had. It was soft, bouncy, and perfect. The shop itself is inside a larger building with many shops so it can be a bit tricky to find at first. You must order before sitting down they will then give you a table.Food: 5/5
I had one of the best sandwiches of my life here. The pear and bacon sandwich they’re known for is on delicious, soft, but crusty freshly baked bread. Everything on the sandwich pairs perfectly together. A bean soup was on special and that was incredible as well. The brownie is soft and deliciously flavorful. The ambiance of the setting was very nice as well. I’ll dream about this place when I am home in the US. Might even pick up a to go sandwich before I head to the airport in a few days!
I am so amazed by this place, it is absolutely stunning and beautiful. It is a lovely spot to have lunch or breakfast, delicious food and drinks. I was there for a drink with my friend, we had a kombucha mimosa cocktail with raspberry that was absolutely delicious and refreshing. I can’t wait to come back there for brunch soon.Food: 5/5
Cute little spot in. Delicious breakfast. Coffe not so great A little pricey for a cappuccino and breakfast for one! There’s also a service charge but it’s kind of self serve
Nice staff. Good views. But the bacon pear sambo is the reason for the season. The bread alone, I would give away my first born for.
My husband and I were at the Pepper Pot for Saturday breakfast. The food was very good, and the setting is lovely. The queuing system to order food at a counter, and the overall level of service, seemed out of line with the prices. The table we were assigned needed to have a leg adjusted and rocked back and forth as a result. The cane chairs look charming but are uncomfortable. I had to fetch my own sugar, and later salt and pepper as none were ever brought to the table. Perhaps we were there on an off day.
Lovely place on the 1st floor in Powerscourt Town Centre. The bacon and pear sandwich was great. Loved the ricotta and lemon cakeFood: 5/5
Overpriced brunch place, amazing building with nice customer service. I really enjoyed the croissant with white chocolate and fresh raspberries. But the scrambles eggs with chorizo and bacon cost 16€ and is nothing special, just scrambled eggs is 10€ I find it expensive. My friend had the brunch day special some mushroom with fried egg toast and salad with parmesan, she enjoyed and it was 15€
This is a great little hidden gem! When I lived in Dublin it was a regular spot of mine and since moving away from Dublin, completely forgot about it! So happy I stumbled across this spot again! The scrambled eggs are always cooked to perfection and I'll definitely be back again!
Just enjoyed breakfast here with my husband. Amazing food and very cute ambiance. He got the eggs on sourdough toast with bacon and I got the lox bagel with potatoes. Very generous serving of lox! We are both very pleased with our meals! Would recommend and would definitely come back :
