My wife and I loved it. Food Irish with French influx was terrific and the coffee nice. Well priced and with a lovely atmosphere. The host should get a personal mention of merit for his elegant and professional job. Flawless. We will be back!
Cosy, laid-back atmosphere. Food is decent, tasty french fare. Had to wait longer than I might have liked for my food I was hungry but attentive service for dinner. Amusingly small windows in the bathroom. All round, no complaints.
Can’t say enough good things; good ambiance, good service, good food quality, good price and the best of all is that they accommodated all my food allergies without any trouble. The chef even made something special for me to substitute bread!! I’ll definitely be back!!
Had dinner last week with some work colleagues... It is a small place but the food was delicious, service really good considering it was just one waiter. I would definitely go again, great cosy place with excellent food...
I decide to treat my partner to brunch yesterday in La Réserve and I was really disappointed. I have had some lovely meals in your restaurant in the evening so I expected the same creativity and flair for brunch. I was totally disappointed. My partner had the eggs benedict 'Oscar' style €12.90 and it was obvious the crab was out of a tin and it was cold and even the spinach was questionable, the hollindaise sauce was tasteless and uninspiring. I had the full Irish €9.90. I was not asked how I would like my eggs cooked, the sausages were cheap and with a very low meat content if any and the brioche tasted burnt. I had to ask for butter which came straight from the fridge. Even the coffee was awful which is amazing for a French restaurant. The latte came with boiled bubbled milk. We ended up going to Nicks after for a good coffee. Really La Réserve if you are going to charge restaurant prices for brunch then you really need to step up a few gears. OK for a corner street cafe but not when you are charging €12.90 for eggs benedict. There are some amazing places in Dublin for brunch unfortunately you are not one of them. Stick to lunch and dinner or radically improve your brunch to match you prices. I don't normally write reviews but I really just felt this was bad value for money.
It's a lovely French bistro. Nothing over the top, trendy or cutting edge, just very well done food with lovely service in a nice relaxed setting. Sometimes that ticks all the boxes.
A fantastic little restaurant. The staff were very friendly & attentive. The food & wine were outstanding
Absolutely delicious with a great choice of typical french dishes cook in a pure traditional way. The choice of wine is excellent
The food is delicious plates are a bit small and the service is excellent. You can sit outside when the weather is nice.
Some of the best wine I've had in a long time. Great service, great food and I'll definitely be back
