Actually managed to get served within a reasonable time here, because there was more than one person working. They each had to go for a lie down and a cup of tea between customers, but all Post Offices are like that. Have been since 1660. Chap who dealt with my parcel was very helpful and friendly, though I’m sure they’ll knock that attitude out of him over the years and replace it with the normal loathing for anyone who wants to, like, post something.
Do not go to this terrible establishment, the old woman at counter number 7 was extremely rude and had no manners whatsoever. She started interrogating me on how many parcels I had to post and kept giving me dirty looks the entire time as if I was wasting her time or something. She also started talking on her phone in the middle of me asking her a question. If this building didn’t have a sign saying post office you would easily mistake it for a pet store seeing the amount of dogs inside.
Very poor customer service And the lady work at counter 7 very rude. She shouted at me. And I told her I don't want you to serve me. She said shut up to me. I went to other counter and ask who's the manager the lad respond the women she's the manager. atcounter 7
I’ve been feeling very confused.. with no opening hours featured on the entrance of the post office. I didn’t appreciate being shouted at “WE’RE CLOSED!!!” Repetitively this afternoon. If there is no clear signage then how are customers supposed to know. Furthermore there were staff behind each of the windows, for someone new to the area I’d presume a post office would be opened later than 4pm in a large town. Rude and unnecessarily obnoxious.
Disgusting service. I went to pay my parking ticket and I was told that I can only use a debit card yet I was sure it could be also a credit card option and only by phone a credit card can be used. Outside, I checked the PCN and I was right, so I returned and showed the cashier the credit card option, to be abruptly told that if their SYSTEM does not accept the payment method, than I cannot use a credit card. What disturbed me, was the attitude and lack of politeness.
Busy little post office in the heart of the town centre which is to be expected, staff behind the counter always friendly and smiling & are happy to help
I went to the post office to post a parcel no doubt i have had a most friendly customer service appreciate the good service provided
Passport application forms only available by queueing for counter services. There is a photo machine at the back, £5 in £1 coins for passport photos. Just make sure the machine is switched on at the power supply behind! It wasn't when I visited.
Paid 16 pounds for check and send for passport application and the passport office rejected the photo that the post 0ffice took. Completely unacceptable. Will be visiting the branch and demanding a refund!!
Most bizarre experience. Told I couldn't buy postal order paying by card. Was then directed to do just that, with my card..... !.....?.... And public sector workers wonder why the government want to close them down.
