Excellent service. I've done plenty of hardware stuff already, but they have twice been able to find the issue when I was unable, and have given great advice on how best to resolve, or whether it made more financial sense to buy new. Happy to go through troubleshooting with you to find the issue, and if you leave your pc with them it will be resolved quickly. Wouldn't go anywhere else in Southampton.
Excellent customer service. I am a student and not local to Southampton, having just recently moved down. I had issues with my laptop and the university informed me of ports wood computers. The manager made sure my laptop was made priority as i explained i needed it for my lectures starting the next day. would highly recommend to all students- swift service
Went in with a broken laptop, completely my own fault to which they fixed it and as other reviews say, they really go the extra mile. Cleaned the motherboard, cleaned out the keyboard and surfaces, replaced the battery and it's as good as new. They took a while, which was probably because of a high work load but highly recommend.

Very impressed that you could retrieve my much needed data from an old faulty hard disc and get me going again. Microsoft office stopped working. The online support person was going to charge me $99 to fix. Portswood computers sorted it straight away , we’re really friendly and I would highly recommend. I won’t go anywhere else for my repairs Thank you portswood computers.
Portswood computers fixed my laptop perfectly back in May 2020 but more recently I have had another issue with it and have been unable to get in touch. Their phone number goes straight to "you cannot leave a message", and nobody answers when I go around in person, but there is no explanatory note on the door or anything like that. You may be similarly frustrated unless you live locally enough that you can drop around often to see whether they are in.
Would highly recommend! Thorough and honest services, excellent communication and updates and very reasonable prices too. Didn't think my laptop could be fixed but they managed it! Will not be going anywhere else from now on.
Terrible experience. They said my laptop had a motherboard issue, charged me for the diagnostic and when I went home and turned it on it was working fine with no issues. Lied out of their teeth and are ignoring my emails and calls. Called them about 20 times and they didn’t pick up once. Stay away from them at all costs
Lovely staff and they were always in contact with me and i was kept up to date with the progress. They were able to save all my data and repaired my laptop at a good price. I definitely recomend the place.
Fantastic service and price. Needed my battery replaced on my work laptop, Parv manged to do this within a couple of hours, when other computer repair shops were saying it would take a few days or even weeks.
