The staff are absolutely incredible at this branch! Always happy to help, full of smiles and a joy to talk to. I would like to say a big thank you to both Anna and Chloe: Anna for sorting an online issue I had and being supportive, and Chloe for convincing me to join GAME Elite, I have managed to save many points from this service! Both of these stars are incredibly knowledgeable on games, current offers and general things! :
I love this store as I'm proper gamer. I've preorder Xbox one X and forza 7 and fifa 18 and assasin creed and star wars battlefront II and call of duty world war II. They've been sending all of this staff as I've been told. huge variety of games consoles etc. definately five stars. ;
What happened to GAME? Used to have lovely friendly enthusiastic staff full of energy and interest. I witnessed a "manager" Aaron talking to customers like absolute garbage, a real arrogant, rude and unpleasant person, on top of the ridiculous over pricing I walked right out again. It seems there is a reason they aren't in a nice prominent position any more and instead are tucked away in an awful corner of sports direct Save yourself the hassle of overpaying and being talked to like dirt and use Amazon or if you want to support the high street, Currys or John Lewis
I am a first time customer of online interior design services. I highly enjoyed the process of working with DREAMS DECOR designers. My designer was very responsive and listened to my specific needs. She was also thoughtful about the way I intended to use my space,Thank you in the end.
Staff are nice but the location is awful. I used to like going into Game but now I have to walk into a tacky Sports Direct where Game is squashed into a small corner of the shop to save costs on rent presumably. They should look at relocating. The Sports Direct crowd/music kinda ruins the vibe of walking into a shop exclusively for gamers
Second time at Southamptons Game store spending time stood in the queue only to get to the front and be told it is out of stock. If they could put a note on the game shelf to state that it is out of stock so no one wastes their time that would be great. Better just to order games online than waste your time queuing for games they don't have
Another 1* review for game and in particular the manager Aaran who I presume is the CEO, owner of the whole company The way he talks and treats customers is absolutely awful, there seems to be no way of complaining about him either so he acts with impunity Slow hand clap for game
Really disappointed in the buy back price of recently released games. Found the game I wanted much cheaper in ASDA. Also lost all my points from over the years as it couldn’t be transferred to a new account. Boycotting Game altogether now. Boo
Fallen off a cliff edge since the move. Got copies of games out on the shelf that they don't even have in stock, you literally can't tell what's in or not. Spend ages waiting for them to check and then end up leaving empty handed. You try and support bricks and mortar stores and people's jobs and whoever is responsible is just letting it go to rack and ruin. I'm happy to pay a few quid more as well if it keeps more shops open and means high street isn't just endless Costa coffees. You can't blame Amazon when you're own mismanagement forces customers to go online. Embarrassing.
It's not too bad here although they keep moving this store or closing it. Weird... Not been happy with them since they closed my favorite store gamestation. But nowadays I buy my games digital. Have not bought a physical game since early 2010's. But I do remember the days coming to this store. But I mostly ever used was gamestation. I suppose it's pretty good for exclusives and events. I originally went to the game store inside west Quay for the evil within event back in 2013. Still remember game originally being on east street. Like I said they're weird moving the store about.
