Surprisingly busy for wednesday at lunch time. Called in with husband and got a table outside quite easily. Ordered drinks and food which came quick enough and was pleasantly surprised at quality of food and presentation. Our only niggle was the chips were that good the portion could have been bigger. Will be back to try more of menu.
Very quiet when we visited, guess its that time of year. Most expensive pint of Tennents Lager I've had, but he pint was decent and Barman was friendly. Will call again next time were in the area.
We where passing, we where hungry, so why not ...... food was beautiful, really can't fault it, service was nice and pleasant, bar wasn't packed, and nice atmosphere, menu needs worked on , not much variety, having said that I might be a little hard as it was a Christmas menu.... haven't been nor seen the normal menu... fingers crossed they have more options on it..... food still nice tho...
Food was wonderful and the staff were so friendly, service was fast I would definitely recommend eating here especially the Cod & Chips Peas
Went to the Portside for a company night out, turned out to be absolutely great. Will & the other staff worked extremely hard, service & food was fantastic, well worth a visit. Thanks to all the staff for a great night out, Will definitely be back!
Visited for light lunch, very nice homemade pate . Nice new flooring, nice and warm as well as I don't like cold pubs!
Stopped here whilst waiting for the ferry. Great food and staff. The outside doesn't do it justice. Very welcoming, if your waiting for the late sailing perfect place to stop for food

Great food and staff are always very helpful and welcoming but the icing on the cake is the 2 steak and chips deal at the weekend for £20! It can't be beat
