Wife and I ate here after visiting the titanic museum. She had the changer and I had a breakfast sandwich. All of the food was top notch. We really enjoyed the relish.
Great to visit The Titanic Museum today and Hickson's Point for a refreshing drink. John and his staff were superb and really went the extra mile for myself and my family to make it an unforgettable experience which we will never forget.
Nice enough spot and the staff are nice but this place is understaffed and poorly managed. Placed my order and was waiting for 15 minutes for a coffee and a pint. Also plastic cups for Guinness? Seriously? Feel sorry for the staff if this is what they have to put up with on the daily. Hire more people because those the people you have are good
If I could give less than one star I would. Absolutely shocking service and the food was poor. Ordered the sharing stack and a cajun chicken sandwich. The stack came - it had pork ribs, chicken wings and potatoes which were all really cold. Turns out they had been sitting on a 'hot' plate... It certainly wasn't hot. We requested a refund as in our opinion to eat pork and chicken that wasn't hot was not good idea, we were treated terribly. The supervisor came over from the Titanic Museum, did not apologise once and made us feel like it was our fault. We weren't making a scene just patiently awaiting our money back, there really was no need for the way we were treated. It's such a shame as this is no doubt the impression that people visiting NI will be left with. Poor!
Do not ever consider eating here. It was the worst dining experience I've ever had. Between the four of us we ordered 5 different plates and between all five there was not a single thing that was edible. I repeat, do not eat here, do not give it the benefit of the doubt. DO NOT EAT HERE! I felt sick after eating here. Everything from the seafood chowder, to the ribs, to the pasta was just awful!
Went here after visiting the wonderful Titanic, and were generally disappointed. Staff tried their best but the overall experience was generic and so so, which for the high tourist prices was a shame. We later went across to the other side of the Titanic complex to the Titanic hotel's lobby bar called "Drawing Office Two" which was absolutely amazing with 5 star service, and cheaper prices than Hickson's point! I hope this helps other tourists.
I hated this place cause the food quality was bad and it was overpriced. My friend got a beef stew and there was NO beef in it. He asked to put beef and they brought back th same plate with 2 pieces of beef. Also, the portions are super small for 10 pounds. I am hungrier than before! The little salad had an entire onion in it. Just avoid.
Terrible food. Terrible service. I’m confident that my dog wouldn’t eat any of the food from there. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. My food was completely cold. My wife ordered a chicken sandwich, which had a tiny sliver of chewy chicken on it, conveniently placed at the front of the sandwich to give the illusion it was full of chicken.
Great for a view of the Titanic quarter and water on a beautiful day, though poor selections of food available. Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere if looking for a quick quiet lunch spot
Don’t review much, but reviewing here. Awful. Cold food into microwave. Not a chef in sight. Advertises trad music, sitting in Belfast listening to fields of athenry and Dubliners - where is the tradition of Belfast?
