I've been there since I was a little baby I love it. The beach and the sea look beautiful when sun set I very much recommend goingRooms: 3/5
Lovely and quiet, just by lovely beach. Field not particularly level but we had a reasonable patch. Facilities very basic but clean and functional. Communication slightly erratic - got a helpful email on the day we were arriving telling us what pitch we were on with a map attached, but no details about how to access the facilities so we had to ring up when we arrived to get access. Charges were a standard £15 per pitch per night which would be good value for a campervan with electricity and 4 people, but wasn’t good value when we had to pay that for a small tent and one person.
Nice site. Very peaceful with fantastic views from the beach. Basic but clean amenities. A few 10 pences gets the hot water running in the showers. Cant ask for anything more and we'll priced.
A little gem of a campsite. Owner is so helpful. Good facities and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Situated in a delightful little fishing village. Highly recommended
What a pleasure this place is. A very basic caravan/ campsite in regards to facilities. But very cheap and also beautiful. The staff were all so welcoming and friendly and helpful. There are toilets and showers take plenty of 50p and 10p coins for showers and electric hook ups where possible. Yes it could do with better lighting in the toilet blocks and possibly a sink for doing dishes etc. But if that's the biggest complaint then so what. It's a lovely small site right next to a large sandy beach. The village is well located for viewing the best the highlands have to offer and we will definitely be back. We loved it. Our kids loved it. Thank you.
A very quite site with very basic facilities but well maintained and worth a stay to be based when touring, there is a shop and post office in the village. It has a golf course near by.
Excellent for a wee break it has facilities onsite and it's just a short walk to the pub the castle and the shop
Electric hook up is covered over by a traffic cone. No toilet drop or grey waste. Also no one to meet or greet didn't have a clue where to park if it wasn't for someone else staying there. Also very uneven ground.
Nice Caravan site and friendly residents. On my personal visit there was tons and tons of hornets which were clearly attracted to our brightly coloured beach devices and toys. Also ticks in the grass. It is a great location since it is right next to the beach. No supermarkets nearby so will have to travel the 7 miles to Tain although there is a post office which will sell the basic groceries. Pub and golf course nearby.
I thought this sort of place no longer existed! This small campsite is run by the local church community - the Free Church of Scotland continuing which is just next to the site. The local minister at the Manse next door will welcome you and give you a key. Just £10! The site at first seems quite dated but the toilets and showers are all very clean and looked after. Electric hookup is limited and low voltage so don’t try to use a fan heater or toaster! Take the path between the static caravans which line the dunes and you are rewarded with the most beautiful little bay and white sands. We’ll be back for sure.
