Great and cooked-to-order food from a traditional British café menu. Very quick and attentive service, bright and clean restaurant. Menu has large choice, plus a kids' menu. No unnecessary frills. Takes contactless payment, has toilets.

Not been in here since I was a kid but went in for lunch and was transported back instantly. Food was very good, basic grub at a good basic price and we LOVED the huge plateful. Missed the bread and butter plate and the teapot of my child days but time moves on. Great value for money and the service was with a lovely smile. Highly recommended

The service here is really good, and it's a nice greasy spoon in the heart of the Bedford high road. My father comes here regularly on a Saturday and the quality is solid. If you want a good English Breakfast on the cheap, it's definitely the place.

Always pop in when in the area. Staff always pleasant and food is freshly cooked and never been disappointed there. Great place for the average man or women to enjoy a nice all day breakfast and a nice cup of coffee or tea. Meals are generous portions. Never had room for dessert :-) Place is always clean. If your a hungry worker in Bedford, here is your salvation.
