I dined for the first time at St Helena's in Elstow on Wednesday after hearing from friends of their experiences. I was not disappointed. The setting was beautiful, staff's attention to detail was superb and the food, well, my son who is 6 foot 7 and has hollow legs rolled out of there, full and very happy. The food was amazing. Well presented and absolutely delicious. I was so full, I couldn't have the coffee. Thank you St Helena for making my retirement visit a visit that I'll always treasure x  Vegetarian options: A superb selection of vegetarian dishes on the menu  Parking: Lots of parking spaces available

This is a superb, classic British restaurant. Everything here is good. The service is attentive, clear and helpful. The food is sublime, with really well thought through dishes, a great range of options, fantastically tasty and some lovely wines. The atmosphere is great, and the prices are fair for a fine dining restaurant like this - not cheap, but definitely not extortionate either. We really enjoyed it, and look forward to coming again.

The place for us for birthdays, wedding anniversaries, meeting friends or just wanting a relaxing evening with great food and service. We need to drive 30 minutes, but it is worth it. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the owners are extremely entertaining, in a positive way and the food is presented beautifully and tastes fantastic. We’ll be back over and over again, just one warning, you need to book.

Went on the 30th of November with 12 friends to celebrate my  Civil Partnership to Sue. As usual every thing was brilliant Food and the Service. Eight of the party had never dined there before and were blown away by everything saying it was the best dining experience they had ever had... I would say 5 stars is not enough... Mine-Host was as ever superb.

Heard good reports on this restaurant and had a meal there last night. Must say I was not disappointed at all. Atmosphere, Food, wine choice and service was amazing. I will definitely be going back there again.

Just stumbled across this restaurant online and it's great reviews! We tried it tonight for our annivasary. We couldn't possibly recommend enough. Everything was perfect. Food was amazing. Service was great. The whole experience was wonderful. We're be back time and time again. Thank you! Xx
