It's great for the kids. That's who it's for remember! Not great for adults... except for keeping kids entertained. Enclosed bouncy castles. Plenty to do. Only downside is that the toilet hadn't been cleaned and the grill had a bit of fat in but it's as a budget kid's break so can't really complain. Take cleaning products and buy a toilet brush.

Enjoyed our stay love the retro look but have to say the poor excuse they have got for a double bed is ridiculous we had to ask for extra quilts to put on bottom only made a slight difference be prepared to spend a fortune on site if that where you going to be staying. The staff were really helpful they tried there best and were probably sick of saying sorry to people. Food was lovely but not really diet friendly but who needs a diet on holiday will return but will take mattress topper next time

The chalet we were in made us feel like we were in a gold fish bowl. Some frosted glass would overcome this feeling. The wood floor was filthy. It had been swept but desperately needed a thorough deep clean. The rather basic cutlery was filthy and had to be washed before we could use it. There was no sharp knife and no cork screw. (we brought one of each in the local £stretcher and left it there). The cups are pathetically small and stained. Two mugs from the local charity shop at least allowed us to make a good sized cup of tea and coffee (again we left them). The oven clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. we went self catering, but couldn't use the oven and ate out every day. Unfortunately i had to work whilst there but the only place with a sound internet connection was in the coffee shop near the enquiries desk. The issue was there are only two power points in outer foyer and two more in the inner one. Luckily it wasn't busy but the staff used the side door to access another building (kitchens maybe) Whilst the general staff always closed the door, the manageress ALWAYS left the door open when she used it. In warm weather not a problem, but on this day it was wet and windy. I did say something on the third walk through, but she simply ignored me. Staff were left to close the door behind her! we knew it was just basic accommodation, and that fact wasn't lost. The duvet had seen better days and i wouldn't like to guess what the stains were. It felt like a summer duvet which in early spring is insufficient. As such we had to leave the heating on all night. The pillows were similarly dirty. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SITE TO ANYONE NO MATTER HOW CHEAP IT IS.

Chalet had to be re cleaned after a wait of an hour plus two visits to get it sorted was supposed to be disabled friendly room and near venue but on both of these it was not. Reception staff not helpful but the ladies that re cleaned the chalet were very nice and did a great job. Litter all over the site chalet with no window in on site and that chalet after 4 days is still the same.

The facilities are really good, lots to do, the chalets are dated but it's cheap so can't expect the Ritz really. If you just see it as somewhere to sleep then you won't be disappointed because there's so much to do. Right near a beautiful beach and the Nova Centre and a retail park.
